So I have an idea for a bit of a darker plot, I gave the characters names and genders, just because it was easier than remembering Muse A and Muse B, but the genders do not have to stay the same and the names don't have to be what I gave them either.

But it's set in a more Renaissance era, I would also like to add in fantasy elements, but that's up for discussion as to how and all.

This plot has some physical violence between the two, as well as references to sexual violence, there are also themes of power imbalances along with some misogynistic behavior in the dynamic between the pair, but also just in general due to the time it was set in.

As for rp preferences, since I'm 18+, I'm not the most comfortable rp'ing with someone who is younger than that. I'm in nursing school, so I'm not always the most active, but I will try to be! I also would like to get at least a full paragraph for posts (3-5 sentences), but more is definitely welcome. But I also get if it's just not workable with the previous post. I'm not the most interested in this being super smutty, but I guess having an understanding that that takes place between the two?

Anyway, I'm going to give the plot, and then the perspective of what happened between the two of them. There are some variations of what I wrote for each perspective, so I apologize for that.

Plot Kinda

She had seen his type before: men whose charm masked a core of violence, who took what they needed without asking. But she misjudged him in that moment, as his pallor and the blood pooling at his side softened her defenses.
“Sit there,” she ordered, pointing to a stool in the corner. She moved to retrieve her supplies, intent on patching him up and sending him on his way.
But the second she turned her back, his hand was on her arm, yanking her to him with a force that stole her breath. “No tricks,” he growled, his voice low and dangerous. “I’ve seen women like you, with their little vials of poison and sharp tongues. You try anything, and I’ll make sure you regret it.”
Bianca froze, her mind racing. She nodded, her voice calm despite the tremor in her hands. “Then let me do my work,” she said, masking the fear that clawed at her throat.
It wasn’t enough. Luca’s eyes narrowed, suspicion hardening his features. He shoved her against the workbench, his grip unrelenting. “You think I don’t know? You could kill me with a drop of something in your tea. So maybe I make sure you don’t have the chance.”
His actions were calculated, not frantic—born of a lifetime of distrust and a warped sense of survival. He forced her into submission, his hands rough and his words laced with menace. Bianca’s resistance was met with sharp warnings and a chilling reminder of his strength. It was over quickly, but the memory of it lingered far longer than the act itself.
When he finally released her, he looked down at her trembling form with something like regret flickering in his eyes, though he said nothing. He cleaned his wound with water she handed him in silence, then left, the door slamming behind him.
For days afterward, Bianca moved through her routines like a ghost, her mind replaying the moment again and again. She scrubbed the floor until her fingers bled, as though she could erase his presence from her space. Yet no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t scrub away the memory of his hands on her or the quiet shame that whispered she should have done more to stop him.
When Luca returned a week later, unannounced, her heart seized. He stood in the doorway, his posture less aggressive but no less imposing. He didn’t apologize—not with words, at least—but the look in his eyes was different. There was a weight there, a recognition of the line he had crossed, though he didn’t seem to know how to acknowledge it.
“I need your help again,” he said, his voice softer this time. “I’ll pay.”
Bianca’s hands tightened into fists, her nails biting into her palms. Her instinct was to scream, to throw him out, to poison the tea she begrudgingly poured for him. But she didn’t. Instead, she stared him down, her voice cutting through the tense air. “You think coin erases what you did?” (hide spoiler)]

Bianca's Perspective/Muse A

The familiar motions calmed her trembling hands, though they could not still the storm in her mind. Since that night, her sanctuary felt like a trap, the walls closing in, suffocating her with memories of a power taken, not shared.
Luca’s arrival had shattered her carefully constructed world. He had not been the first to view her as someone to be used, but his act cut deeper because he had stayed. Other men had been fleeting terrors, faceless shadows she could bury in the cold comfort of her poisons. Luca lingered, forcing her to confront a truth she didn’t want to acknowledge: survival sometimes meant enduring pain, but what lingered was the shame of what she had endured—and the anger that came with it.
The violence left its mark in ways she hadn’t anticipated. She avoided her reflection, fearing the hollowness she might see in her own eyes. She stiffened at the sound of heavy footsteps or the creak of her apothecary’s old wooden door, her pulse racing until she saw it wasn’t him—or worse, that it was. She found herself questioning her own worth, wondering if her strength was a façade if her ability to navigate a world dominated by men was merely a lie she had told herself to feel in control.
But Bianca was not a woman who allowed herself to remain a victim. In the wake of her pain, she became colder and sharper. She buried her vulnerability beneath layers of defiance, her words cutting like the edge of a blade. She threw herself into her craft, creating remedies and poisons with an intensity that bordered on obsession. Each potion became an extension of her will—a way to reclaim the power that had been stripped from her.
Yet, as much as she tried to shut out Luca, he was a storm that would not be ignored. He returned, sometimes with an apology in his eyes but never on his lips. His presence was a reminder of what had been taken, but also of the complexity of her own feelings. For as much as she hated him, she also saw the weight he carried—the pain that mirrored her own, the brokenness that had driven him to act as he had.
The nights were the hardest. Alone with her thoughts, she replayed the moment over and over, each time trying to understand where the fault lay. She despised the voice in her head that whispered she could have fought harder or run faster, that told her she had somehow failed. She despised even more the part of her that longed for connection despite the harm he had caused.
Slowly, those feelings began to shift—not into forgiveness, but into understanding. She didn’t owe Luca redemption, but she began to see him not as a monster but as a man, shaped by a world as cruel to him as it had been to her. In recognizing his pain, she began to confront her own, peeling back the layers of anger and fear to find the strength beneath.
Her healing was not linear. There were days she hated him with a ferocity that burned in her chest and days when she saw glimpses of the man he was trying to become—the man who asked permission, who listened, who tried in clumsy ways to atone. She learned to voice her boundaries, to claim the power she had once been denied, and in doing so, she forced Luca to confront the weight of his actions.
Their relationship became a crucible, a test of whether two broken people could forge something stronger in the fire. For Bianca, it was never about forgiveness—it was about survival, about reclaiming herself piece by piece. As she stood before her shelves of remedies and poisons, she realized that her strength had never been a lie. It had always been there, waiting to be claimed. (hide spoiler)]

Luca's Perspective

She didn’t scream or cower when she saw him, even as his bloodied form filled the doorway. Instead, her dark eyes narrowed, her hand drifting toward something on the workbench.
It was that movement that set his nerves alight. He had been betrayed before—by partners, by lovers, by people who had once sworn loyalty. He couldn’t afford to trust anyone, least of all a woman whose trade involved potions and poisons. In his world, trust was a liability that ended with a knife in your back.
Luca’s mind raced as he watched her move. She was calm—too calm for his liking. His own survival instincts began to twist his perception, turning her silence into something menacing. Was she reaching for a weapon? Did she plan to call for help the moment his back was turned? He couldn’t take that risk.
“I need your help,” he said, his voice harsh and ragged.
Her gaze flicked to him, wary but steady. “Then let me help you.”
But even as she spoke, he saw her hands working—reaching for cloth, for bottles, for something he didn’t recognize. It sent a jolt of unease through him. He had grown up in a world where kindness was a mask, where an outstretched hand often concealed a dagger. He couldn’t believe her intent was purely to heal him.
“Stop,” he growled, his hand darting out to grip her wrist. Her eyes widened, and he saw fear flicker for a moment. It was fleeting, replaced by a flash of defiance that unnerved him even more.
“I said stop,” he repeated, his voice rising, though he hated how desperate it sounded.
She didn’t fight him, not at first, but her silence was louder than any scream. It felt like an accusation like she saw through him in a way no one else had. That terrified him. He tightened his grip, his breathing uneven.
The decision came not from malice but from a dark, instinctive place. Luca had learned to take control in situations where he felt powerless and to assert dominance as a way to survive. The world had taught him that violence was often the only language anyone listened to. That night, the fear of being vulnerable, of being at someone else’s mercy, consumed him.
“If I don’t, you’ll turn on me,” he muttered, almost to himself. “You’re not as innocent as you look.”
The words felt hollow even as he spoke them, but they gave him a twisted justification for what he was about to do. He shoved her against the workbench, his movements mechanical, his mind a whirlwind of anger and self-loathing. As he forced her submission, a part of him screamed to stop, but the walls he had built around his conscience were too thick.
It wasn’t until it was over, until he saw her trembling form and the cold fury in her eyes, that the weight of what he had done began to sink in. He picked up his dagger and left without another word, the taste of shame bitter in his mouth.
That night, as he lay in the shadows of an abandoned warehouse, Luca couldn’t escape the memory of her face—not the fear, but the disgust and the defiance. It was the first time in years that he felt the full force of his actions, the crushing realization that survival at any cost had turned him into something he never wanted to be. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Muse A and Muse B used to have a connection a few years beforehand before having a falling out, but ever since then they had never talked to each other again, ending on rather rocky measures the message between the two of them being fairly clear that they'd never talk to each other again. Though for the years following after their break up, it was hard to say either of them was alright. Muse A on one hand, having being the one to break up with Muse B grew this strange obsession with Muse B, having a psychotic and deranged mental a few months after the initial break up. Where as Muse B the one whom had been broken up with never quiet moved on, seeming stuck in one place, becoming more shut in and silent with trust issues and mentally struggling in general. Though the two of them both manage to land in the mental institute for their mental behaviors. Muse A having being a bit more tame but still spontaneous and occasionally having psychotic breakdowns and Muse B came to do a bit more but hardly even left their room to talk to the other patients, or really do anything for that matter. Though, that didn't quite stop Muse A from trying to talk to Muse B, frequently chatting their ear off (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ Muse A is a human in a world where demons and angels roam the lands as the superior species, but are at war, humans hidden away underground and in bunkers. Muse A has a younger brother whom they look out for, considering both of their parents are deceased, though on a venture to search for supplies to bring back to their makeshift shelter, Muse A's younger brother ends up being kidnapped by a demon. Leaving Muse A to try and find their brother without being killed by going into demon territory, though on their way, they run into Muse B, an injured angel (injured in whatever way one pleases), and promises to help Muse A get to their younger brother in exchange for helping them out, in a simple exchange. Though Muse B being injured it really limits their abilities and frankly slows Muse A down at times, having to stop more and more frequently whilst they have no idea what is going on with their brother and if he is even alright (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ {This is one is a lot loss depressing.} Muse A is an artist and spends most of their time drawing, on basically anything, books, lampposts, and occasionally their own skin, drawing flowers, eyes, and basically anything that they can possibly thing of, never really seeming to cease. Muse B on the other hand in not much of an artist but sees Muse A's work, without knowing who's drawing them. Muse A and Muse B are bound soulmates, so every time Muse A draws on their arms it slowly appears on Muse B's arms as the exact copy. Muse B doesn't really know where it's coming from but they enjoy watching the lines get created over time, and then they end up looking like they have a cool tattoo of sorts (hide spoiler)]

Muse A - a highly intelligent and resourceful undercover FBI agent, is tasked with the daunting mission of tracking down Muse B - a mysterious and elusive assassin whose recent actions have plunged the city into chaos. Then, and as fate intertwines their paths, the two find themselves drawn to one another, unaware of the hidden truths that lie beneath their carefully crafted facades.

Yet, and despite the layers of deception that surround them, an undeniable spark ignites between the two, leading them to fall in love amidst the shadows of their lives. However, this delicate balance to their relationship shatters when Muse A uncovers the truth about Muse B…

Maybe we're a bit mental: (view spoiler)[ Muse A and Muse B used to have a connection a few years beforehand before having a falling out, but ever since then they had never talked to each other again, ending on rather rocky measures the message between the two of them being fairly clear that they'd never talk to each other again. Though for the years following after their break up, it was hard to say either of them was alright. Muse A on one hand, having being the one to break up with Muse B grew this strange obsession with Muse B, having a psychotic and deranged mental a few months after the initial break up. Where as Muse B the one whom had been broken up with never quite moved on, seeming stuck in one place, becoming more shut in and silent with trust issues and mentally struggling in general. Though the two of them both manage to land in the mental institute for their mental behaviors. Muse A having being a bit more tame but still spontaneous and occasionally having psychotic breakdowns and Muse B came to do a bit more but hardly even left their room to talk to the other patients, or really do anything for that matter. Though, that didn't quite stop Muse A from trying to talk to Muse B, frequently chatting their ear off (hide spoiler)]


What if we find him?: (view spoiler)[ Muse A is a human in a world where demons and angels roam the lands as the superior species, but are at war, humans hidden away underground and in bunkers. Muse A has a younger brother whom they look out for, considering both of their parents are deceased, though on a venture to search for supplies to bring back to their makeshift shelter, Muse A's younger brother ends up being kidnapped by a demon. Leaving Muse A to try and find their brother without being killed by going into demon territory, though on their way, they run into Muse B, an injured angel (injured in whatever way one pleases), and promises to help Muse A get to their younger brother in exchange for helping them out, in a simple exchange. Though Muse B being injured it really limits their abilities and frankly slows Muse A down at times, having to stop more and more frequently whilst they have no idea what is going on with their brother and if he is even alright (hide spoiler)]



Draw me more roses. <3: (view spoiler)[ {This is one is a lot loss depressing.} Muse A is an artist and spends most of their time drawing, on basically anything, books, lampposts, and occasionally their own skin, drawing flowers, eyes, and basically anything that they can possibly thing of, never really seeming to cease. Muse B on the other hand in not much of an artist but sees Muse A's work, without knowing who's drawing them. Muse A and Muse B are bound soulmates, so every time Muse A draws on their arms it slowly appears on Muse B's arms as the exact copy. Muse B doesn't really know where it's coming from but they enjoy watching the lines get created over time, and then they end up looking like they have a cool tattoo of sorts (hide spoiler)]



Just from afar (view spoiler)[ CW// This one does contain a bit of stalking, I'll be totally honest. Muse A and Muse B hardly know each other only running into each in class (college or high school, I don't mind). Muse A is a very quiet type, often keeping to themself, and Muse B being a bit more open though not by much, Muse A has an infatuation with Muse B, always watching them and wanting to talk to them and get to know them, often following them and noting their schedule just to get brief glances and contact with them. (Next part is optional) Though, Muse B is already taken by someone else, Muse A really likes Muse B. (hide spoiler)]



Investing in Wishes (view spoiler)[ Muse A in the prized person in school (highschool or college, don't mind whichever one), people often liked them either crushing on them or trying to gain their affections, but Muse B hardly has interest for them, but on Muse A's side they're infatuated with them, constantly trying to be in their life thinking that Muse B is absolutely perfect for them because they follow their ideal relationship. {Think about Highschool Sweethearts - Melanie Martinez} (hide spoiler)]




Let's run away together (view spoiler)[ Basic plot, nothing too specific but two (either friends or not) end up running away together, this is really a sandbox roleplay really, the reasons of them running away are totally up to you, what happens and where they go is also up to you, we can brainstorm this one really.
