A and B also hate each other, or at least have a very strong dislike for each other. Unfortunately, the committee chooses the two of them to marry each other now that they are of age.
Will this new life fail? Will the two fall in love, start a family, and maybe be able to escape the walls to a free life beyond back in the normal world? Or is that world they've been desperate for even there anymore?

For the last four generations the Vellacourts have had no shortage of enemies within the city- which is no surprise given the family has largely made its fortune and name through unethical means, such as stock manipulation schemes. Muse A happens to be one such enemy. His family and the Vellacourts are locked in a blood feud as far as he is concerned- because of them his brother lost his life, and his family wants retribution. Now the time to get it has come. In honor of the Vellacourt's heiress' 20th birthday a grand masquerade ball has been planned. Muse A plans to seize this as an opportunity to infiltrate enemy territory in disguise, and ultimately kidnap the Vellacourt heiress- its only fair afterall, a daughter to pay for the loss of a son. It will almost be too easy, the Vellacourts security forces for large events always have a tendency to slack off after the first few hours, and by a stroke of luck Muse A knows exactly what dress the Vellacourt heiress will be wearing which will make it so much easier to find her in a sea of masks. As expected Muse A is able to pull off his plan without a hitch- that is until he discovers he kidnapped the wrong girl- Muse B.
Muse B used to be a Vellacourt, but she doesn't claim the name or her rightful title of heiress as the oldest child anymore. She left that behind years ago- did everything just short of faking her own death. She only came at the request of her sister, and only then because she was assured she would go unnoticed with the masquerade theme. Now a captive of Muse A, it seems the plan to go unnoticed has gone up in smoke.
While Muse A is at first unhappy with his mistake he supposes that his revenge can be taken just as easily by killing Muse B- she is still by blood a Vellacourt daughter afterall. Muse B has other ideas though and attempts to convince Muse A that she could be a valuable asset if allowed to live. With her knowledge she could help him hit her father where it would really hurt and together they could crumble her family's ill-gotten empire.
Now Muse A must decide if he should trust the Vellacourt outcast or settle with the petty, and potentially unsatisfying, revenge of killing her.
Anyone? I'm looking for someone who would want to take on Muse A and who is semi detailed (willing to write a solid paragraph at least per post). I left details fairly vague so they can be discussed and shaped/reshaped as we go. If interested feel free to reply to this post or message me!

Life Anew is a strict Christian conversion camp for "radically changing the life of those who suffer from the evils and destructive nature of same sex attraction or gender confusion with reparative therapy." The front facing aspect of the "therapy" is a positive Christian setting focusing on helping teens and young adults change their ways and learn how to "come out straight" in reality, there are some very dark practices going on at the camp.
Muse A is an almost adult (16-18) whose parents have forced him to go into treatment at the camp after discovering his feelings for another boy. His parents are fundamentalist Christians who believe in quiverful theory and have many many children. They are strict in their beliefs and harsh with their kids.
Muse B is a young adult (19-25) who has been at the camp for almost a year and has gotten good at fooling the counselors to believe he has changed. Having grown up in a strict household, he felt the need to change, but has grown more and more skeptical of their methods.
Seeing how vulnerable Muse A is, Muse B takes the younger male under his wing, trying to keep him from getting too hurt. The friendship grows quickly and then turns into a little more. Will the pair be able to keep their love secret? Will they break free?

- Trigger warning: Sexual content, Abusive and sexual abuse content, Violence, potentially some drug abuse
- If you are not okay with mature content, this is not the RP for you
-I work full time at a hospital, so I won't be on every day, but I will do my best to respond as much as I can

After humans developed the crypto-sleep casket, they eliminated, or at least minimized one of those problems. . By suspending their body in a permanent state of rest, it wouldn't matter how fast you moved, as to the casket occupant, it seemed instant.
Now able to occupy all of the known universe, their next step was to find planets in 'sutiable' conditions. While studies may show as many as 300 million individual plants may be habitable, only a handful per galaxy meet that criteria.
With so few and millions of light-years between them, humans developed microscopic robots to go and terraform planets across the universe. But these robots did more than that. They were use in medicine, warfare, cosmetics and more.
Nevertheless, so many of these robots were sent out that not every planet was 'planned'. Some, on the edge of the universe, were named Rimworlds. While these planets are certainly habitable, no one willingly chooses to do so as often time, the nearest planet containing a civilized world is million of light years away.
Often occupied by illegal activity due to their seclusion, these planets harbor rather dangerous individuals. People lost to time pose a threat, being hostile tribes with undying faith to a god or cause, or ancient civilizations capable of nuclear destruction, each planet has a varying level of technology and people.
This roleplay will take place after a small group of people crash-land on a rimworld. The group is unfamiliar with one another, making this new scenario all the more stressful, yet exciting. I'm hoping to build a world, starting with 2-3 people and maybe work up to a small tribe of colorful individuals :)
You must be okay with some level of violence as stated before, these are dangerous world harbored by unknown threats. I ask you be active, and saying that, I'm not going to say a word limit as I believe there will be room for short and long posts.

A is a homeless girl living on the streets. B is a rich man who's never had to worry about where his next meal comes from. One day (or evening), when A uses B's surrounding bushes/foliage to hide from a rainstorm, B finds her and invites her in. A agrees but quickly disappears after that, afraid that the man would turn her in for wandering the streets. But they keep running into each other somehow and slowly become friends, and maybe more than that after awhile.

Oops I Summoned A Familiar;
A young witch/wizard unaware of their powers manages to summon a demonic familar that follows them from a distance throughout their childhood in the form of a stray cat.
That is until the parents catch wind of this and in attempt to remove evil witchcraft from their family purity, they convince the witch/wizard that the bad happenings(death/abuse/misfortunes) are caused by their bad omen aka Stray cat that followed them all their life.
This leads to the wizard/witch making an effort to reject or kill the familiar as they near their 21st birthday.
If the witch doesn't acknowledge the familar as their own by then, the familar dies and the witch banishes their power to dormancy. The familar is forced to take drastic measures and take a human form (which reduces his lifespan faster) to convince the witch to realize their own power before its too late.

Muse A and Muse B grew up within the same dusty streets. As many disadvantaged youths did, they relied on less than honest ways to survive- such as stealing fruit from vendors and pickpocketing passing tourists. Since the town was relatively small it didn't take long for their paths to cross. Muse B almost instantly befriended A's older brother and from then on they all stuck together. . . for a while anyway. Once he was old enough to have a reasonable chance at finding an 'honorable' job Muse B left to do exactly that, leaving Muse A and her brothers without so much as a goodbye. Once beyond the constraints of the poverty riddled little town he was eventually able to find a better life - he made a name and a modest fortune for himself, and even married a very wealthy merchants daughter. He had a picture perfect life that he could once only dream about . . . for about two years.
Now a widower, he spends most of his days watching after his late wife's aging father and helping him attend to his affairs since the old man's son by blood is too busy with his wayward endeavors. He tends not to mind, being there is better than returning to his own empty- and now somewhat run down- house.
After the old man decides to cut off his biological son's funds and place in the will until he settles down with a respectable girl by his side, it doesn't take long for him to show up . . . with Muse A in tow.
Unknownst to the biological son, Muse A is a practiced con artist. The formula was usually always the same- muse A observed to see who looked like they had money to spare in her current area, found a way to make it seem like her chosen mark was at fault for an injury or accident involving her, cry and make up some sob story that would prey on her mark's empathy. At the very least it always landed her some sum of money- sometimes golden pocket watches, or as a bonus a place to stay until she 'healed'. This time it went much further than she had intended, for it seemed her mark had taken a shining to her and insisted that she accompany him back to his home where he could offer her greater compensation. She knew it would be a risk, but the opportunity was too great so she agreed.
What Muse A doesn't know is that her mark is running a con of his own. Determined to get his name back on his father's will, he plans to stage a proposal to get back in his father's good graces, and once that is done do what is necessary to get back to his former life style.
From the time they are first introduced, Muse B has his suspicions about Muse A's true identity- but is unsure of how to confirm such . . . until he catches sight of a familiar scar along her arm on the night of her engagement- a scar he had stitched up with his own hands when they were younger.
A few days after uncovering her true motives he feels that he must warn Muse A's now fiancé, not necessarily out of loyalty to him but to his father. While going to do so he overhears something he wasn't meant to- Muse A's fiancé making plans for her prompt demise . . . and it sounds eerily similar to how he lost his wife. Knowing he can not bring such an absurd claim to his father in law about his biological son without some form of proof he goes back to Muse A, adamate that they must come up with a plan to uncover and prove his wrongdoings, promising her more than she could ever swindle from her murderous fiancé in return for her cooperation.

Heloooo there. I've been wanting to do an alien/sci-fi role-play for a while now. It's kind of an Avatar/Ice planet Barbarians/Voyagers kind of rp. If your interested in hearing the plot, PM me!
Requirements :
- Mature aspects to the rp- swearing, violence, gore, sexual stuff, etc. If there's anything you don't want included, let me know and we'll work around it! But there will be mature topics and parts to the rp, which is why I'll only do it with 18+.
- Detailed Posts please! 2-3 paragraphs at a minimum, but more is always welcomed! We can do the rp in 3rd or 1st person, doesn't matter to me.
