Lately I've had a fantasy/sci-fi fix and considering doing something along those lines.

Maybe a superhero story where the two people discover they have powers and have deal with the challenges of having them.

Or a modern Ready Player One type story where a contest is held and the prize is a $64 billion industry. The two are fighting for it.

Nevertheless, I'm open to suggestions.

(they could meet: on a lengthy and disastrous international flight after C throws a tantrum, B works at C’s daycare, on a guided tour, a train ride to the city that gets stopped???)

Muse 1 then gets bored of being in their apartment alone and goes to the Muse 2's get together, and actually has fun. Muse A and Muse B are two halves of an A-list celebrity couple. Together, they have millions of adoring fans and millions of dollars to spend on whatever they could possibly desire. Despite the occasional tabloid article, Muse A and Muse B seem to be living a Hollywood love story, complete with cozy rendezvous in VIP sections of the hottest nightclubs, romantic dinners at the chef’s table in the trendiest restaurants, and affectionate touches on the red carpet at public appearances. Being as famous as they are, Muse A and Muse B are mobbed by paparazzi everywhere they go. Outside of their glamorous, gated home, the star couple can’t get a moment of privacy. But that’s perfectly alright with them because the truth is that Muse A and Muse B are together strictly for publicity. Behind closed doors, Muse A and Muse B absolutely despise one another and they secretly do everything they can to sabotage the other’s career. (hide spoiler)]

Muse A is famous and has been receiving threatening letters/messages online as of late. Muse B is a popular club bouncer, who gets a chance at the big leagues when they get a call from one of Muse A’s representatives to be Muse A’s personal bodyguard. Upon first meeting, there is a distinct physical attraction between Muse A and Muse B, but professional boundaries are set clearly within a contract. In the first few weeks of Muse B’s employment, they shadow Muse A everywhere possible and despite being there at Muse A’s request, Muse A begins to feel suffocated. They can’t have a personal life if Muse B is constantly with them, lurking over their shoulder or in the next room. The only way that Muse A can think of to get around this issue is to set up an online dating profile under a pseudonym, of course, so that they might meet someone without Muse B and the rest of the world interfering. Muse B also has trouble in their personal life, never having free time to date because they’re watching Muse A 24/7. Muse B sets up an online profile as well, unbeknownst to Muse A. Fairy-tales & Fatigues

When a soldier returns home from active duty, he shares a joyful reunion with his significant other. Romance rekindles the moment the pair sets eyes on each other; for a time, it’s as if they never spent a minute apart, though it’s been several years since they’ve had more than a video chat to hold them over. The lovers are finally able to start building a life together and plan their fairy-tale wedding. Only, it doesn’t take but a few weeks for the soldier’s experiences abroad to start impeding their efforts. Gradually, he becomes listless and quiet. Sometimes, he’s eerily distant and angry without provocation. Saying that the adjustment to civilian living is more challenging then he first assumed it would be is an understatement.

But the couple’s love is strong and neither is willing to give up just because there’s a few demons to fight. At their breaking point, the soldier’s love takes him to the spot where they first met. Then and there, they make a pact to stand together and never fall apart. (hide spoiler)]

Strictly Business

Muse A is a wealthy CEO who runs their own fortune 500 company in a bustling city. Muse A is in their 30s-40s and has been married to their college sweetheart for 12 years, though the passion between them has long since fizzled out. Muse B is a 20-something, fresh out of college, possessing a business degree and needing to get their foot in the door of the business world. Muse B is lucky enough to be hired by Muse A’sfirm and becomes Muse A’s personal assistant/secretary. Muse A and Muse B exchange pleasantries from day to day, but don’t socialize much beyond the details of their business together. One evening, Muse B gets a call from Muse A asking a favor. Muse A must go to a charity gala and their spouse is not able to attend; they want Muse B to attend the event with them. Muse B is flattered and agrees to go for the sake of not letting their boss down.

Muse A sends a private car for Muse B along with an expensive outfit for them to wear. When Muse B arrives at the gala, they are blown away by the elegant venue. Champagne is flowing freely and Muse A looks attractive as ever in formal wear. Throughout the evening, Muse A reveals a playful, charming side to Muse Bthat they don’t get to see in the office. Muse A is flirtatious even, lightly touching the small of Muse B’s back, sliding their arm around Muse B’s shoulder, complimenting Muse B in front of business associates. Muse Bknows that they shouldn’t read to heavily into Muse A’s flirtation, because Muse A is married and they work together, but it’s difficult not to get swept up.

When the gala is over, Muse A insists that they retire to the hotel room they’ve reserved upstairs until they’ve sobered up some. Muse B agrees to stay and the pair takes the elevator up to a penthouse suite, the likes of which Muse B has only seen on luxury blogs and in travel magazines. Fueled by a mutual attraction and champagne, Muse A makes a bold move on Muse B, crossing professional and marital lines. Muse B feels guilty the next morning, knowing that Muse A is married, but the attraction between boss and employee can no longer be ignored. Over the course of the following weeks, Muse A and Muse B embark on a secret affair; sharing intimate moments between business meetings, going away on overnight “business trips” together, indulging in private shopping sprees with Muse B’s platinum card. Reservations & Revelations

Muse A and Muse B have been together romantically for 2 years and they’ve known each other for almost 5 years in total. Since their second date they’ve sworn to a policy of telling each other the truth no matter what, which they believe has kept their relationship strong for so long. Lately, the honest couple has been incredibly busy with work and family obligations, barely having time to sit down together for a full meal before one has to dash off. Their anniversary date approaches and the couple promises to set some time aside for the occasion. Whether by pure forgetfulness, a lack of time to talk, or a desire to surprise their significant other, Muse A and Muse B have been keeping some news from their partner –news that each of them will share during the anniversary dinner. The couple dresses up and heads out to their favorite spot in town, each person waiting for the right time to confess what they’ve been hiding. While waiting for dessert, Muse Afinally speaks up and says they have news to share. But so does Muse B, at the same time. Each insists that the other say what they have to say first and they ultimately rely on the flip of a coin to decide who spills first. Muse A is one month pregnant. Muse B is leaving (for someone else or for a job assignment thousands of miles away).

Who will lose the coin flip and have tell their secret first? Will the other person decide to keep their secret (or change plans) after learning what their lover has been hiding? Will the sharing of the secrets make or break the relationship? (hide spoiler)]

The first night after Muse A moves into her new apartment, she realizes she can hear her new neighbor's nocturnal activities. Thanks to paper-thin walls and the guy's athletic prowess, she can hear not just his bed banging against the wall but the ecstatic response of what seems (as loud night after loud night goes by) like an endless parade of women. And since Muse A is currently on a self-imposed break from dating, and her neighbor is clearly lethally attractive to women, she finds her fantasies keep her awake even longer than the noise. So, when the wallbanging threatens to literally bounce her out of bed, Muse A, clad in sexual frustration and a pink baby-doll nightie, confronts Muse B, her heard-but-never-seen neighbor. The tension between them is as thick as the walls are thin, and the results just as mixed. Suddenly, Muse A is finding she may have discovered a whole new definition of neighborly...

Good Grief

Muse A has been an aspiring musician for years. They have finally hit it big; their music quickly climbing the charts, labels scrambling to sign them, screaming fans waiting outside venues. Muse A meets Muse B at an industry event, and the two hit it off immediately. Muse A invites Muse B out after the event, and they end up going home together afterward. As they continue to bump into one another at industry events over the next few weeks, the pair decides to act on their chemistry and try dating. It isn’t long before they start to fall for each other, but Muse A’s rising fame sweeps them up, leaving Muse B behind while Muse A travels the world. Muse B does their best to deal with the distance and the insecurities that come along with dating a musician but, they finally reach their limit when a photo surfaces of Muse A kissing a fan after a show. Muse Aexpresses regret about the incident, but can’t promise that they’ll be 100% faithful while on tour. After a difficult talk, the two agree that they shouldn’t be together right now, and they’ll just have to see what happens when the tour is over. But when it’s time for Muse A to write their sophomore album, nothing is more inspiring than their relationship with Muse B. Their first single is released and it’s a break-up song that’s all about missing Muse B.

Hello all! Been a while since I've started a new role play. Basically I went through a period of being 100% inactive, I've recently come back over the last six months, and now that I've gotten my current role plays under control, I'd like to start taking on a couple of new ones!

So I've got a bit of a plot in mind, something a bit dark and twisted.

Friendly warning, if you're not into plots that are really dark, deal with confronting themes, and complex character development, stop here!

"If These Scars Could Talk"


(view spoiler)[Plot: Girl A is living in an underground world, living a lifestyle that only few girls find themselves in out of pure bad luck, an environment hidden from those living their every day normal lives, a messed up and twisted society that sees young beautiful girls sold from man to man, doing what their sellers believe their only role in this world is. To please their men by doing absolutely anything and everything they are told to. Girl A was introduced into this world when she was 14 years old, at the hands of her own father who had been apart of this business since he was just a young adult. A life shrouded in secrecy and lies, her father kept his underground business from his late wife and daughter, auctioning off the girls who found themselves under his control, earning a pretty penny for every mans dream come true. Only when his wife passed away, and his daughter turned 13 did he reveal his true intentions; to sell his own daughter.

Now at only 18 years of age, Girl A has spent her teenage years being sold and shared between all kinds of men, it has become her life, the only thing she knows, the very oxygen she breathes. And when one man has had enough of her, he'll take her back to her father for the process to be started all over again. Years spent facing rape, sexual assault, emotional and mental abuse, physical torture and horrific violence, a body covered in scars and a mental state in pieces, she doesn't know the difference between her sick lifestyle and normality anymore.

Guy A knows the difference. He knows the difference quite well, only he chose to live in this sick life. He has spent a few thousand dollars on women in the past, being one of the masters who likes to keep things interesting and entertaining, who doesn't like to stick to the one lady for too long before he returns her and picks a new piece of meat to torture, use and abuse. He's quite a sick and twisted man, who finds pleasure and enjoyment from tearing submissive women apart, and he's not anything if not dominant. But how could such a monster come to be? Simple, monsters are created by other monsters.

So when Guy A returns to the underground black markets in search of a new girl to dominate and destroy, he is unable to pull himself away from the seemingly broken but accepting Girl A, who although she is so damaged and ruined, she has lost her fight and accepted that this is what she has become, and it is her job. Guy A buys Girl A, intrigued by the way she carries herself, the way she looks at the men who gawk at her and yet it is as if her eyes are going straight through them, not really seeing them at all. Guy A buys her to shred her to pieces, to destroy every last inch of her and push her to breaking point, all so he can fuel is own need and desire for power, authority and dominance. But as his time of abuse and harm to Girl A goes by, there is something about her that sparks something inside of him, something he has not felt for a very, very long time. (hide spoiler)]

REQUIREMENTS
1. I am looking for someone who will role play dark and depressing themes, including but not limited to sexual abuse, rape, physical abuse, torture, mental abuse, emotional abuse, self harm, alcohol and drug use, depression and anxiety.
2. Not a grammar or spelling Nazi, but please at least let me be able to understand what you're saying!
3. At least a paragraph in length per post, nothing too OTT but a sentence or two wont really cut it. Wanting someone who can really express different actions and emotions in each post.
4. Roles: I'm looking to play Girl A, so after someone who will play Guy A (a disturbed and dominant sole, but someone still broken from their own past)
5. Someone who can help develop the plot. Up for negotiations and other details etc, so hoping for someone who will help keep it moving. Also looking for someone who can develop a character over time. Both Girl A and Guy A are messed up for different reasons, and they have different ways of behaving and acting. The idea is that this will change slowly over time, once Girl A sparks Guy A's interest, and he starts to deal with his own demons.
6. Wanting to do it through PM because there will be excessive sex scenes and jumping from PM to thread will get pretty old quickly xD

Muse A is a talented dancer, Muse B is a superstar athlete. The two have little in common, apart from their desire to be the best at what they do. They only know of each other through mutual friends, but don’t speak until Muse B’s coach insists that Muse B get some ballet training to improve his footwork on the field/ice. Embarrassed to have to take ballet at all, Muse B turns to Muse A for private lessons

PLOT Girl A; a well known explorer, adventurer, and an archaeologist of sorts. She's devoted her life to finding artifacts and precious items that could change the fate of the world, before those who plan to use such items for their own gain and for the wrong reasons. However, she's become more known for the death she's caused along the way. True, her goal is to find these artifacts, but she does not have any problem with eliminating those who stand in her way.
Guy A enters the scene. He's one of the men who play for the team that wants these artifacts to make themselves more powerful, and watch those weaker than them perish. His main goal, apart from finding these items too, has become to kill Girl A, no matter the costs. She has caused Guy A's team a lot of death, as many of his men have been killed by her hand.
The chase is on between the two to find the latest artifact, buried deep in ruins in Egypt. With Girl A working as a lone wolf, and Guy A leading a whole squad team wanting her blood, who will spill blood first? and who will be the one to obtain the artifact? More importantly, what happens when they two become trapped, buried under the old, fragile ruins and have to find their way out? Will they be able to work together? Or will someone pull the trigger first?

REQUIREMENTS
1. Roles: I'd like to play Girl A for this one, so I'm looking for someone to play Guy A
2. Detail: I like an RP that has some meat to it. Give me a one liner and I will not be impressed and I will drop that RP in 2 seconds flat. Something with some emotion and details of surroundings and such.
3. Involvement: I love an RP buddy who knows how to get into an RP. Yes I've done the heart of the plot, but I am more than welcome to any suggestions/changes/ideas you have of your own to make it more interesting etc. Furthermore I like it when the person I'm rping with is involved with the story and gives something too!
5. Cussing/mature scenes: It's totally fine if you dont do these things. FULL DISCLOSURE, i do rp these things. If you're uncomfortable with it, just let me know!
6. Action/romance/violence: I want this plot to be action packed! So I'm looking for someone who can roleplay scenes with explosions and gunfire and combat etc. I'm also looking for someone who can roleplay romance too! Obviously the characters HATE each other for the most of it, given that they're sworn enemies, however I would like romance to develop with time. This brings me to my next point.
7. Insta-love: Dont do it. Never have. Never will. Fucking hate it. It kills the RP in an instant, and unless its plot-relevant (and in this case it is not) i dont wanna see it.
8. Lastly, IF YOU LOSE INTEREST TELL ME: I can handle someone telling me they're no longer interested in the rp, or they just aren't feeling it anymore. What I cannot deal with is people just never, ever replying. If you dont wanna do it anymore, just tell me! I dont want to be waiting for a reply thats never going to come! (view spoiler)[ Girl A has had a relatively hard life. Her father was an alcoholic who left her and her mother when she was only 8, and now her mother has gone off the rails herself, not interested in her daughter or anything about her. The girl, aged 17-18 goes to school and has a part time job at a café, but whatever she earns always seems to end up in her mother’s pockets, who then spends the money to satisfy her addictions. Well now Girl A has had enough, and with the money she managed to save, she decided to move out. Unfortunately all she could afford was a dingy little apartment in a not-so-safe part in town, but she felt as if it was better than what she had. Still working at the café, the girl is trying to save money to move to a better place and safe for college too.

Enter Guy A. He’s a 19 year old boy who hasn’t had a great time either. His mother died giving birth to him and his father has always blamed him for the death of his wife. With this came a huge hate towards his son, and his son knew it. No matter how hard he tried, he could never please his father and his dad would always say to him. “Don’t be so hard on yourself, its not your fault you fucked up my life.” Guy A couldn’t control the way his father felt about him, and with this lack of control came the obsessive need to find something he did have power over. That’s where he met Girl A at the café. After many encounters there, he began to develop feelings for her, however due to her mind constantly being focused on other things; she never really gave him the time of day. Wanting to get her to return his feelings, guy A begins to stalk her. Finding out where she lives, where she goes on a regular basis. Girl A feels as if she’s often being watched, and one fateful evening, a man who Guy A hired attacks her in an alley way late at night. Guy A takes this opportunity to play the hero in order to earn her trust. He scares the attacker off, potentially saving her life. His plan works out perfectly. He offers to stay with her and look after her since she’s so terrified and she agrees. As they spend more time together, a relationship between the two slowly begins to blossom and yet she has no clue as to what happened; that the boy she is now dating set up the man to attack her.

Girl A files a report about the man who attacked her and as an extensive investigation goes on, the cops get closer and closer to figuring out it was Guy A who set this entire thing up. With the police closing in and the risk of Girl A finding out what really happened and potentially ending up hating him just like his father did, what will Guy A do to protect himself and his relationship?

PLOT As of late, there have been very many mysterious disappearances and deaths to those of higher powers, those who have done their Kingdoms wrong. The Kings of both the Poor and the Rich districts of the cities of Arche, Damascus and Jerusalem have caused so many problems for their people by inflicting pain and suffering on them. Such atrocities include the underground slave trade run between Damascus and Arche. The Kings soldiers do rounds of the streets, taking anyone who is sick, old, or just a pain in their ass and forcing them to be apart of the trade. Over in Jerusalem is the corrupt make-shift hospitals, whose doctors treat the sick with medicines that only cause them more pain, in order to bleed them dry of their money and belongings. Such cruelty is frowned upon by all those in these cities, but known of them possess the power to stop these Kings.

Enter Girl A, the assassin of the night. No one has seen her, nor does anyone know who she is More importantly, they do not know that she, is in fact a she. Yes, they all believe the assassin to be a male. She slays the Kings of these districts in order to bring freedom to those who have been abused. She herself had faced a dark life, having grown up in a poor family. Her mother died of illness when she was quite young, and her father would physically abuse her, beating her on a daily bassists. For many years, Girl A took this abuse, but one day, something inside her snapped. After wrestling with her father and getting him away from her, she decided that all she could do to stop him, was to stop him.... permanently. She slaughtered him. This was her first taste of blood, but it saw her go into hiding, until she stumbled upon a group of men. She stood her own against them, not taking their bullshit and fighting back the second she saw them. But they were no ordinary men. They were apart of a brotherhood, and they took her to their leader who allowed her to join and use her skills for good. Thus, she has devoted her life to slaying the Kings. With her next target, Guy A, in her sights she is ready to eliminate him. However, word of her arrival is circling, and Guy A is waiting for 'him' to arrive.

After a battle between the two, Guy A discovers her true identity. Outraged that a woman has caused so much trouble, he punishes her. He displays her to the Kingdom in chains, having her work for him in the underground slave labor trade just like the rest of them. He keeps a close eye on her, and after spending a large amount of time with her, he begins to learn more about her abusive past and why she came to be an assassin. Eventually they fall in love, however with her main goal as part of the brother being to kill him, will Girl A betray him and slaughter him? Or will she betray her brotherhood? And will Guy A beat her to the punch and eliminate her first?
REQUIREMENTS
1. Roles: I’m looking for someone who will be the male King in this one!
2. Size of responses: Preferably 1-2 paragraphs! Not looking for a novel, but I want something with depth and development
3. Characters: I need someone who can really enhance the characters and develop them over a period of time!!!
4. Plot development: I know the plot is pretty sound, but I am totally up for any suggestions to make it more interesting etc. I love someone who can really get into the plot and has ideas of their own to contribute!
