I Need You, He Needs Me
They share an unique and horrid ability to share dreams, even nightmares, they can see each other in these dreams and they might even know the others name. But they're never able to remember it that easily and this is why they both keep a journal for the dreams. Muse A was sent to an institution after his father found him trying to kill himself, this institution was said to help those who were in dire need of it. Muse A needed saving, and his saviour came in the form of Muse B. Muse B is a boy who suffers from chronic nightmares every time he sleeps, it's the same nightmare over and over again. He witnesses a boy either hurting himself and dying, or a boy being killed and dying, it always switches on him. Muse B becomes Muse A's new roommate and together the two form an unlikely bond after Muse A touches B's journal and B almost choke A to death.
At some point the bond grows and the two become inseparable, however, Muse A is soon cleared to go and Muse B must stay. When Muse B is informed, he begs Muse A to stay, that he needs him, that he loves him; this is what causes Muse A to go against the doctors and stay, just so he could help Muse B, whom they believe is incurable.
Requirements:
— I only do MxM's, MxF's get weird and I'm not
comfortable with FxF's quite yet
— I prefer long paragraphs, at least 2-3 paragraphs
with 5-10 sentences per paragraph; also provide
details, emotions and whatnot
— I would like to play Muse A

Maaaybe. I have to note that my interpretation of "this woman seems a little different" goes more towards murder and psychopathy than sunshine and puppies, though. I may be less able to do a straightforward romance.

@Kat: I’d really like to provided I can play B. Her personality can be more normal or more psychopathic and in line with his own. Depending on which one you’d want more we could alter the plot around that?
yes! two interpretations, if you're interested. i would also dearly love to see the differences in the executions of a similar idea. But you'll need to wait till December before I can start writing everyday. I have exams right now. :( is that okay?

Requirements: No one liners. My responses depend on how into the RP I am but I really love long responses because it just furthers the story. The pairings I do are mostly BxG but I'm willing to try out gxg or bxb.
I don't really like doubling up. I used to do it but I just couldn't get into it.
I prefer to play the girl.
For genres I mostly do supernatural or romance. I have a plot but most people aren't really into it but if you wanna hear about it then just tell me.

A new dating app is taking the town by storm, claiming to match people up to their soulmate. Now several people, both humans and non-humans, are going to see if these stories are true when its their turn to meet their own match on the app in person.
We'd alternate between various different characters!
Hi guys! I'm just a lil aspiring writer who happens to love roleplaying. I used to do it on Instagram, but it seems as if less and less people enjoy literate roleplays on there anymore so I'm gonna try this place instead. I don't have many rules or requirements, my request is really quite simple. (:I'm just looking for someone I can do a nice, detailed roleplay with. I'm a very literate person, so although I do expect lengthy replies, you don't always have to match mine. (:
I don't dabble much in the sci-fi and fantasy genres, I mostly enjoy a modern day romance kind of thing. But I am more than willing to add a super natural twist if that is what is desired. (:
I'm willing to play both the male character and the female charater. It really doesn't matter much to me. (:
Erm, so, yeah. I'm kinda new to this sort of thing, so I apologize if I seem a little all over the place. I'm still trying to figure the whole thing out. But, if anyone is interested, please do message me! I would be more than happy to finally start a roleplay with someone.
Here are my plots:
1. Muse A (male) is a museum curator with a fetish for perfection. No one’s ever gotten close to him; how could they? They’re never as perfect as the portraits, the sculptures, the art that never changes. Then one day, Muse B (female), an intern is hired on—a young, messy, disorganized intern, whose hair and desk are in a constant state of disarray. Muse A is going half-mad with this walking embodiment of chaos; so why can’t he stand the thought of Muse B leaving at the end of her assistantship? (I can be Muse A or Muse B in this plot, it doesn't mind to me).
2. Muse A (male) is a well known dealer of the sorts. Not the top of the list, but he's up there. One late night as he's doing a drug deal at the city's local bar, a fight breaks out because Muse A doesn't have what the supplier needs. Muse A walks out angrily after the fight, accidentally flinging the door into Muse B (female) who was just going out for a nice walk in the city. She completely knocks out, so Muse A takes her to the hospital. She wakes up on the drive there and they begin to slowly bond as he stays the night at the hospital with her. They begin to fall for each other, though Muse A has a dark past and many, many secrets that may put Muse B in danger.. (I would much rather prefer to be Muse A in this plot)
3. Muse A (male) and Muse B (female) are childhood sweethearts. Not only have they been best friends since they were in elementary school, they have also been dating since middle school. Now they are all grown, happily engaged and newly pregnant. But Muse A left for the Marines last year. He visited for Christmas, and that was the last Muse B had heard from him. Its been six months now, and Muse A has officially gone MIA. To everyone, he has been pronounced dead. But really, Muse A just gets stranded in a bad area and only gets taken out because he and his group or whatever steal an enemy aircraft. Muse B has had the baby, who is now a month old. Muse A is finally coming home as a surprise. Nobody home even knows he is alive. They all think he was killed. So you can imangine the surprise when he knocks on Muse B's door.... (I'd prefer to be Muse A in this plot as well)

Muse A (female) and muse B (male) both attend the same college. Muse A knows who Muse B is, because he leads one of the most popular frat houses in the college. However, of course, muse B knows nothing of muse A, because she is a nobody compared to him. Invisible, if anything else. Muse B has the looks, the popularity, and the girls. Muse A, well...she has the books, and a mean right hook. She runs her father’s old boxing center. Muse A is very stubborn and has an attitude like no other. So when Muse B gets into a nasty fight at one of his frat parties, his signs up for a one-on-one class to learn to fight better, not knowing that the lead instructor is a girl. He wants to quit once he finds out, because he feels as if he will learn nothing from a girl, but he already paid for two weeks worth of training and there are no refunds allowed. Forced to go through with it, Muse B and Muse A don’t get along very well at all. But will their differences bring them together? (I can be Muse A or B in this one as well.)
5. Muse A (female) is just beginning her life. She's moved into a little apartment in the city, working her dream job and just living her happy-go-lucky life, that is, until, she realizes she isn't alone in the cute little apartment she just rented. Muse B (male) is a ghost. No one has ever been able to see him before. Except her. He is completely infatuated by her, while she is just completely terrified and annoyed by him. But as time passes, he begins to grow on her. What happens when you fall in love with a ghost?

The Quiet ones
Muse A has always been the quiet type. Sweet-hearted but shy, they are liked by most but… doesn’t really have someone they can truly call a friend. They go about their daily life in mostly quiet, their coming and going never causing much notice. Enter Muse B. Muse B has been deaf since birth, and mute as a result. Despite this fact, Muse B lives louder than anyone Muse A has ever seen. They’re vivacious and full of life- they never let “no” be the final say. The two begin to take notice of each other, but hit a brick wall when they realize they cannot communicate effectively. Muse B begins to teach Muse A how to sign, and their friendship begins to grow into something mere words can’t describe.

Cuffing Season
Muse A is a police officer who doesn’t exactly go by the book, in fact they probably spend more time cavorting with criminals than capturing them. When Muse A finds themself romantically entangled with Muse B, a criminal, it’s easy for them to turn a blind eye to Muse B’s illicit activities (especially when Muse B’s boss puts Muse A on a special payroll for keeping their business off police radar). Over time, Muse A is welcomed into Muse B’s crime family, so long as they leave their badge at home.
This year, Muse A is up for a promotion - it’s so close that they can taste it. If they can arrest a notorious boss, they’re certain that the promotion is theirs. No problem. Muse A can simply hand over one of their lover’s enemies, right? As Muse A is scheming, the police chief calls a meeting. The chief unveils the newest person-of-interest, expressing in no uncertain terms that this is the perpetrator they want brought down next. Muse A is conflicted when they immediately recognize the person-of-interest as Muse B’s relative/boss, someone whom they’ve sat across from at the dinner table on several occasions, someone very dear to their lover, someone who will go after everyone in Muse A’s family if there’s even a suspicion of betrayal.

I Like Your Brains
Muse A meets Muse B at a mutual friend’s Halloween party. To Muse A’s delight, Muse B is super cool and they’re inseparable for the whole night. When the party is over, Muse B walks Muse A home and as they’re about to share a goodnight kiss, Muse A notices something strange. Muse B is salivating. Muse A chalks it up to one too many cocktails at the party they attended and settles for peck on the cheek and a promise to call Muse B soon. Shortly after, the pair begins to date/hang out and Muse A can’t help but notice how weirdly Muse B sometimes behaves: picking at raw meat before it’s cooked, staring hard at Muse A when they think Muse A isn’t paying attention, making excuses and leaving in a hurry or not coming over for days. Not to mention, sometimes Muse B just looks (and smells) like death itself.
When Muse A’s house-pet goes missing after Muse B spends the night over, Muse A doesn’t know what to think. It isn’t until Muse B suddenly sinks their teeth into Muse A one evening during a Netflix binge that the two have to have a serious talk. Muse B reluctantly reveals that something odd has been happening to them, to their appetite. The only thing they seem to crave more and more is flesh–living flesh. If Muse B denies their creepy urges much longer, their body will begin to noticeably deteriorate. And if they don’t resist their unnatural craving, Muse B just might make a meal out of Muse A.

Tough Love
Muse A is the young boss of a Mafia clan under whom several mafia familes work for. He is hot XD, arrogant and can make any girl swoon but he is kind of psycho, you know. He has the habit of believing that everyone is against him because he has the most power. He can track out the people who are disloyal to him and on the 27th day of each month, he kills that person himself in front of everyone in his council.
Muse B is the a daughter of one of the mafia families who works for Muse A. They know each other as she is in the council too. Though she has taken the life of crime and omerta, she is fed up of the killings. She has always been kind of different. She wants a life of her own.
One day Muse A kills Muse B's best friend as she had been planning to finish him with another clan and hell breaks loose. Muse B starts hating him and wants to take revenge but at some point both are attracted to each other.
