I really hope you can help me with this one, I've always wanted to read this book, but now I've forgotten the title.
As you can see in the topic it's written by some French philosopher and about a guy who gets thrown out of the castle where he grew up, but as a servant of some kind I believe. From there on he travels the Europe and the whole thing is like an ironical take on the society of Europe in that time, if I remember correctly.
