I watched the trailer and it didn't remind me of the book at all. I pictured Alice so different and didn't recognize the scenes, so we'll see. I will watch it but I know it won't meet the quality of the book.

I am still in that deciding on what book to read first phase. I will get there eventually though. For this week though i will try to get through The selection.

thanks i read it awhile back but only got through the first chapter before i had to take it back. i haven't decided on just one book right now so i am kind of reading 3 books at once right now.

How you like the book?

It was fabulous, a must-read. I loved Althea, sure she made some stupid mistakes, but she learned from them and became even more of a kick-ass character. Oliver was a hit-miss, with his illness (especially the times he woke up again) he was at times a bit annoying. But later on I started liking him more.
And while I saw quite a few people didn't like the ending, I think it fitted perfectly. I am happy they went with this and didn't force things together. :)

Yeah, I agree with you on that. The cover is pretty ugly, though it is a very pretty yellow colour. :) I am really glad I bought the book and tried it out and loved it.
