When he left early with the files I got nervous. I think he said too much to his coworkers in the parking lot. The author doesn't usually follow other minor characters around unless something is going to happen.

When he met his co-workers in the parking lot and he had the files, I got a bit nervous. I agree, Melissa. Too much time was spent with Jim. I thought something might happen to him.

Yeah, that was a pivotal moment and I worried for him. However, I didn’t expect for him to end up dead! He’s been in many of the previous stories.

I think he should have trusted his instincts after his call to the expert and that he should have left his home and found Will or Hans immediately rather than leaving a lukewarm voice message.
