Cassandra Chandler (cassandrachandler) | 30 comments Could someone please add "Homeworld for the Holidays" to my "Department of Homeworld Security" series? It's book 12. Thanks!

Michelle | 386 comments I don't see a book 11 anywhere on Amazon or your website. Is book 12 perhaps misnumbered and it's 11?

Or do you have a book 11 that is missing and needs to be added (as a book and to the series)?

Otherwise it's easy enough to renumber 12 to 11 and then get it added to the series.

Book 11 is currently only available in an anthology. I’ll be releasing it next year as a stand-alone. Readers really wanted book 12 now :)

Michelle | 386 comments Book 12 added to series.

Regarding #11:
1) added note in series description: Book 11 available in an anthology, and will be released in 2020 as a standalone version.
2) What's the name of the anthology? (I'll add it to the description so your readers can more easily find it).

The anthology should be added to the series, actually. It can be added as book #11 for now (and kept primary); once a standalone of 11 is available, the anthology should be moved to the end of the series listing and marked as non-primary.

Cassandra Chandler (cassandrachandler) | 30 comments Thanks for adding book 12. For the anthology, there are 12 other authors in it. How would making it #11 in my series impact them and their respective series?

It won't. It can be in multiple series. If yours is primary, it will show up with gray text under the title, but it can still be in the other series should those exist.

Cassandra Chandler (cassandrachandler) | 30 comments Since none of the other authors are adding the anthology to their series, I don’t think it would be appropriate to add it to mine. We discussed it, and there’s concern about the term “primary” and what that means and how it would impact the other authors. I need to wait for my stand-alone to come out in March to add it to my series listing.

Scott | 9557 comments Normally the primary author of an anthology would be the editor.

Then you should be flagging the edits, or correcting them, or both. Not posting in the group about them.
