MN Valley State Recreation Area was established in 1969. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_par...

This park is in the Minnesota River Valley, and the multi-use Minnesota Valley State Trail parallels the Minnesota River here. Celebrate this extensive use of the name by enjoying a book set in Minnesota, or by a Minnesota author.
