Hi everybody, I just finished reading The Fates Divide, and WOW!! It was soooo awesome I loved it. Has anyone else finished it yet, if so what did you think of it? If you haven't finished yet comment where you are and what you think of it so far

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I am a school librarian in a Catholic School K-8. We use AR. I had a student in 5th grade, who has been reading in 5th grade since 3rd grade. I received a complaint from her mother over The Fates Divide. 1. She shouldn't have checked it out as it is UG (upper grades). Those are for middle school.
Complaints were sex, drugs, contraception, and gender identity.

Honestly, I haven't read the book. I checked numerous reviews and did not see any real red flags.

I obviously have moved it up on my TBR. Just overwhelmed at the moment as I also do 2 groups of reading intervention and 1 math intervention along with a middle school elective. Can any one give me some insight.
