Yes, their romance was definitely more on the erotic side. I was sort of surprised that they gave in to their physical attraction so quickly after he abducted her. It seemed to me that she believed his tale about being imprisoned with Dougan far too easily and his willingness to consummate the marriage was also strange considering his aversion to being touched. This episode required some suspension of disbelief.
I was really surprised Dorian/Dougan would be physical with Farah after his past in the prisons. And, since Farah did not know that he was really Dougan, I was very surprised by her telling him she wanted a physical relationship so she could have a baby. I thought the author would have given them a little more time to get to know each other again.
I think she subconsciously felt that Dorian was Dougan and that he had suffered horribly in prison. The fast transition to a sexual relationship surprised me too. Her acceptance of him in a sexual way went a long way to helping him heal, even if she said all she wanted was a baby, she really wanted him whole again.
Me thinks Farah was very attracted to Dorian, feeling the same strong, inexplicable pull towards him that she felt for Dougan. It explains her fast track to a sexual relationship with him, at least in my mind. I think they saw in each other the same things that they felt as children.
