oshizu | 5762 comments LET'S TURN PAGES: Year-End Report

Happy New Year!
I'm sure you are all busily enjoying your holidays and preparing for your new reading journey in 2021.
In case you're curious, here's our group performance for the year of 2020.
In view of the worldwide lockdown and the number of participants who lost interest in the challenge, we still performed incredibly well as a group!
* * *

Pages pledged: 4,976,500 pages
Pages turned: 3,824,787 pages (76.9% of pages pledged)
Challenges begun: 169 active participants (out of 221 sign-ups)
Challenges done: 66 (39% of active participants)
* * *

I'm so proud of every participant who actively participated in this challenge. Whether you met your goal or not, take pride in your reading achievements!
In addition to those folks who reached their challenge goals, you're a Let's Turn Pages winner in 2020, if:
*You turned more pages than you expected;
*You turned more pages than you did the year before;
*You encountered and enjoyed at least one new-to-you author or genre; or
*You thoroughly enjoyed at least one of your 2020 reads.

Thank you all for taking part in the 2020 Let's Turn Pages challenge.
Thank you for making my role as challenge leader easier with your perfectly-formatted update comments!
And, finally, thank you for being a fellow book nerd. One of us, one of us!

P.S. I will be checking this thread and doing a final update in the evening of January 9th (US time).
If I've made a mistake in your entry, please message me.
On January 10th, I will be moving this thread to the ARCHIVE folder.
