Veronique | 1154 comments Congrats on your TWO bingo challenges! How on Earth do you do two! I missed that - RL a bit much and I haven’t kept with all the posts. Anyway, I’m so impressed!

Did you go for ‘owned’ books as you wanted at the beginning of the year?

Safe travels.

Well I’m home safe and sound. A little nervous about spending so many hours in a Covid tube with wings, but I don’t feel any worse for the experience and I would do it again tomorrow. Wearing a mask for so many hours made me feel a little claustrophobic and gave me a deep respect for our medical workers, as well as others who wear them all day every day. I don’t think I could do it.

A lot has been happening this last week, especially with our new 2021 challenges, lots to catch up on. I finished this challenge at the start of my travels and while gone I read a book, whose authors last name starts with the letter Q. Still going to get my tail kicked in the alphabet challenges, but I’m going down fighting.

What I really want to say is Thank You. Thanks to all those who have taken the time to encourage me in my reading challenge. It’s the comments and recommendations from friends that make these challenges fun. I learn from and enjoy all of the comments I get through the year.

Again, Thanks, this wouldn’t be worth doing without you all. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, I’m looking forward to next year!

Anne (reachannereach) | 489 comments Happy Holidays to you, Bob. Why were you in a Covid tube with wings? I'm not even sure what that is. ???

Sorry Anne tried to poke fun at an airplane flight. Planes and submarines are the most confining spaces I can think of. Whatever is inside with you, you’re stuck with until the doors are reopened.

Got it, Bob. Glad you survived the flights. You're very brave to board one of those Covid tubes with wings. Before you explained what you meant I wondered if you were a journalist going to a special hospital for Covid patients. LOL

Brina Bob I’m flying next month and feel better knowing that you’re well. Thanks for setting this up.

Kathleen | 5458 comments Glad you're home safe and sound, Bob. Hope you have a relaxing rest of the year, with plenty of time to tackle your alphabet challenge. :-) (Or rest up in preparation for new challenges, which start in just a handful of days!)

Cynda | 5192 comments Bob, whew. I thought you were in a covid version of an iron lung. While I know that iron lungs are outdated technology, I also was concerned. Glad you are well.

Renee | 727 comments That's amazing, Bob! I can't believe you finished two boards. You have really been on a roll this year! Do you even have any books left on your bookshelf to read?

Any favourites?

Veronique | 1154 comments I’m also glad and relieved you’re home safe.

Julie | 606 comments Way to go on your double board achievement!

Sue K H (sky_bluez) | 3694 comments Congratulations on complete 2 BINGO boards Bob! You read some great books. I'm glad you are home safely. I know what you mean by having even more respect for essential workers who have to wear masks all day. I worked as an election judge for a couple weeks and had to wear it all day. My seven hour shifts were more exhausting than my 12 hr days at the office during my busiest times.
