I'm trying to figure out the name of a book I read back in the late 80's or early 90's. It was about a guy who is in a car accident or dies in some way and wakes up in a new world. Sort of like Narnia or fantasy genre. It was written by a teenager or young adult who died before finishing it. It was finished by a famous author that found out about it and thought he should finish it. I seem to remember the famous author was an atheist and discusses in the forward how God can not exist in a world where the young author died. I thought the name was black ice, but it doesn't come up as the right book when I search for it. The cover showed a guy standing in the snow with a sword. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
