Miguel Bautista was the top enforcer for a crime boss, an assassin known for using extreme torture on his targets. So why are we rooting for him?

I kept asking myself the same question. Why do I like him so much? This author is great at making me love a guy who did really bad things...

Same for me, Karen😏 Even knowing what he was, Bautista had his own code of honor. He only went after awful men. But he was known for his brutality so that’s in him. Still, I liked and rooted for him.

Because he only went after the bad guys and he had a childhood connection to Marisol. He kept good care of his grandmother so we know he has a heart in there somewhere.

He only hurt the bad guys. He saved Marisol, he loves and cares for his grandmother and his interactions with Julia (Georgia) showed that he has not totally lost his humanity. I see something worth redeeming in him.
