I just got word about a new crime website called The Lineup. I went and checked it out, and it's got articles about books, about various weird stuff (like "Mustachioed Men of Literary Mystery -- a toast to "the men of mystery fiction – and their killer whiskers,") all kinds of cool stuff. Very nicely done.
