I don't know. Neither of them are really my type. Although I recognize them as good looking guys.

Isn't Damon supposed to be the antagonist? It's kind of hard to be romanced by that.
Okay, just watched the show. I'm a little tired of the "brooding" guy story line, but it worked well. I hope they don't play on the blonde's jealousy, but of course they will. I get really annoyed with the jealous-catty-frenemy plot, I swear I let out a groan when she started whining about Elena. The psychic best friend? I wasn't expecting that. Also, I think all of the guys on the show are good looking in their own way. Jeremy (brother) and Matt (ex) are not to be counted out.

No way Jeremy is very cute and so is Matt...I even think the guy in the woods, Tyler was cute...

Was I the only one who thought that Matt's declaration to Elena was cute? "I'm not giving up on us" Of course it's probably a lost cause by now, but still, it was sweet.
Lol no, sorry. It's on my to-read list, but I'd rather read a few more things before starting on it. I haven't heard good things. I'll just stick to the show for right now. :)

I just started the books...only on page 36 and already the Elena in the book seems super shallow!!!

Yeah I know...but like Melzz said that is just so cliche...I think I like the girl on the show way better...but I am going to give the book a shot!!

damon already seems like an arrogant pain in the you know what. but he keeps it interesting. i like him better in later books, but im not allowed to say anything about that.

Yeah, I didn't say it on this thread specifically, but I stand by that. There were so many novels and films that idolized blondes that it's just taboo now. The cliche of the blonde heroine gets annoying, especially when there are more brunettes in the world.

Let's hope that they follow the storyline, they have ample power to just go in a different direction.
After all, it's only "based" on the series, it isn't a direct adaptation. I wonder if that's why the Twilight films have slightly different plots, because their only based on it...

Yeah mine to...I guess maybe it's because he's such a jerk...or maybe because he somehow reminds me of a certain Native American guy...lol.

I liked it overall. I understand why it can't follow the books exactly because it's a series so it has to be longer and there have to be a whole lot of interesting characters, not just 5 of them so I'm going to wait and see but so far I'm hooked.
I don't like Tyler so much and definitely is not my type and I was a bit disappointed in Matt's lack of hot.

i am a L.J Smith fanatic now. no offence to those who absolutly have stephenie meyer as no..1 auther but i think L.J Smith tops her by a mile :L
i sill love stephenies books though (the host made me cry loads. so did new moon now i come to think of it.)

I havnt read the books and I dont plan to, simply because I am watching the series (just like True Blood). I read Sookie SH First book and just didnt like it...series is way better.
I am hooked too....just to see what Havoc Damon is about to unleash....LOL

Hey the guy who plays stephen would make a good Eddy
I don't like Rob I don't think they're is anyone perfect enough

Rob has this Edward thing about him, even though he's not perfect. His voice wasn't exactly velvety smooth but it was better than most.

i happen to agree.

Me too....I think its his eyes...

Me too....I think its his eyes...
"
They're not even his eyes! They're just contacts, unless your talking about his normal eyes, which aren't that great anyway.

Me too....I think its his ey..."
No I mean the shape of them...DUH i know that he has to wear contacts. But I think his real eye color is great too....
I love his eyes and the shape of his face.....thats about it! lol
Roxy wrote: "Me too....I think its his eyes..."
Yes, he has these bedroom eyes. He's not really my type but I don't think he's awful.
Karina wrote: "What are bedroom eyes?!"
From Dictionary:
The expression bedroom eyes originated as a description of a half-closed or sleepy eyed look. Most often used to denote someone with hooded eyes.
Some girls find it sexy.
Karina wrote: "Ugh. I'm just not going to start on him."
What did he ever do to you?
