Please help! Forgotten title

I'm trying to find a book about a woman (rich upper class) who is on a stage-coach, which is in an accident, when they are held up. the other passengers die, and she survives because one of the passengers (large, fat man) rolls on top of her, hiding her from the thieves.

She is then found by Native Americans, who gift her to one of their tribesmen, who was scarred as a teen during an ambush from an enemy tribe.

During her stay with him, she tries to stab him, but fails and he makes her stitch him up.

They eventually fall in love, but that is hindered when his tribe capture some white men who were trespassing. she tries to let them go, but is caught and he has to whip her, which causes problems in their relationship.

At one point, the H's ex lover (who ditched him because he was no longer the most handsome because of the scarring) creates a situation by the river to make it look like they were fooling around. the h comes across it and the H has a minor panic attack thinking she would be mad, but she says that she knows he is an honourable person and wouldn't do that to her.

Eventually they get pregnant, and she wants her mother to be a part of that, so they go and visit her mother, which was awkward.

at some point she is kidnapped and works at a brothel, but is saved from ravishment because she's pregnant. Then a rich handicapped man takes her as a mistress, but they don't do anything, and her love interest becomes a worker there to find her.

Unfortunately that is all I remember :(

If anyone knows this story please let me know!! It's driving me crazy, not being able to remember the title.

I did get one answer so far from the amazon forum. A reader there thought it might be Love in the Wind by Madeline Baker
