I'm planning to stop after #5 for now. Maybe work the other books in when I need a Bishop fix.

I'm 75% through. Man, this story! I will finish tonight for sure. (view spoiler)[Even with a rough idea of how things are going to go, I'm on the edge of my seat as I read. It also makes me sad. So many parallels with current events :( The need to stock up on supplies, esp toilet paper, the fact that a few bad humans are ruining it for everyone... I almost wish our world had some Elders to go wipe out the "bad" humans for us. There isn't going to be much humanity left by the time they're done and really they deserve it. I don't expect Cel Romano to survive at all aside from those small few who actually tried to live in friendship with the others.

Joe's scene was hard. I'm glad Meg got enough warning to at least save the pups. (hide spoiler)]

I finished. (view spoiler)[Really wanted to give 5 stars but only gave 4. I wish we'd had more moments with the Elders that were as scary as in the police precinct. That was awesome. The other scenes with our main characters were good and tense but I wasn't really worried they'd pull through.

So funny the Elders are amused by the howling not-wolf :)

This was awesome!!! I am so in love with all of our main characters and this world as a whole! THe story was darker, but still so very touching! I am jumping right away into the next one!

This book is so good, Saar, I can't wait for you to read it! It is a bit dark and intense, but still has the moments of levity... And I want to adopt Skippy so much! I have my person with the same issues and I know how to take care of him, although I think Ms. Twila is doing a great job at it (✿ ♡‿♡)
