Robyn Who would you save? For me Oberyn Martell should not have died so early on. He was one of the coolest characters in the series so far and I would have liked to see he last at least another book or two. I went crazy sitting outside of a Starbucks when he died. Who do you think should have lived? I would have picked Jon Snow but I don't believe he's dead.

Nikoleta Probably Tywin. I really liked him as a character and he was a far better ruler than Cersei.

Kayla Tywin had to die so that Cersei could muck things up. As much as I want Ned to not die, he had to die to make the stories continue. I'd go with Ray and say Oberyn Martell because I think his death was totally unnecessary and worst the horrid way in which he died. I really liked his character.

Kathy Robb and Eddard Stark. In my opinion, I think Martin will kill-off just about all of our favorites, sadly :(.

Iris I don't think I miss any of the dead characters. Yes some deaths were shocking (Eddard, Robb, Tywin, possibly Snow) but none of them were my favorites so the story goes on. (Although I'm pretty sure my favorite will die in the next book. Ugh.)

Brooklyn Ann The Hound ...If he's really dead. And Oberyn Martell. He was an interesting character.

Ben Washington Tyrion.

Whoops. Spoiler alert.

Just kidding. I made that up.

I don't believe the Hound is dead, but the character that he was at the very least is; I would like for that to be different.

Petra My initial answer would be Robb, but I can see that his poor decision making just caught up with him.
Jon is most certainly not dead, he will be back one way or the other.
So I would go with Oberyn.

Jacqueline Definitely Oberyn Martell. He was awesome and I hated his death. The Red Viper could have lasted a while more and added to the story.

T4bsF (Call me Flo) I didn't really enjoy book 1 and only skimmed through book 2 as I was very interested in Arya and wanted to find out what happened to her. I won't be reading any more in the series - so if anyone would be kind enough to précis, in a couple of sentences for me (view spoiler), I would be very grateful.

Katherina Out of those who died in this part of the series... The Hound. Arya left him dying in a way he really did not deserve and although you never know anyone dead until you see their bodies... well... it was pretty clear he was dying and I don't think someone would bother and rescue him :(

Anna Oberyn, Tywin and The Hound. They were all interesting characters.

Brooklyn Ann I'm pretty certain Sandor Clegane is still alive, however, I wish he would have made it to the Vale, killed Littlefinger, rescued Sansa, and then took her to Winterfell, killing Freys along the way, and slaughtered Ramsay and Roose Bolton.

I would have loved to see that. Specially the last part.

Brooklyn Ann It would have been EPIC awesomesauce. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/...

Alexis The Hound.

I think The Hound is younger in the books.

Shehan Jeor Mormont
IMO things would be much less screwed up in the wall if he is still alive!

Oh yes, I forgot Jeor Mormont. Definitely would have helped having him around. Also (view spoiler).

If only. :(

Colleen Mcdonald Oberyn,Ned,Grey Wind.

The reason I'd like to see GreyWind is we have a Stark without a direwolf but not a direwolf without a Stark and it would be interesting to see if Sansa could warg a wolf or if Grey Wind would join Nymeria in hunting Stark enemies.
I'd also like to know where Benjen has been...

Deeptanshu The King of the North Robb Stark.
Reading about his death was the closest I ve come to tears in years.

Pallav The Hound.
When they say that he had become an outlaw, I kind of hoped that he would join Lord Beric and Ahh... maybe kill a few Freys.

Ramsay: "Does it matter? The world won't miss a few Freys. There's plenty more down at the Twins should we ever have need of one"

Zoe Joffrey? Only joking!

There have been a fair few shocking deaths in these books but I think that the most intriguing actually occurred a decade before the saga begins - Lyanna Stark. Her kidnapping by Rhaegar was a pivotal moment in his downfall which set the scene for this story. But I feel that there is more to this tale than initially meets the eye - "Promise me, Ned" - I think that there is more to come out here.

Toviel Oh, this is hard.

I guess Jon's uncle? I mean, while we haven't seen a body, it's pretty clear that he's probably dead by now. I just kind of want him to show up just to give Jon something to be happy about for once.

Cheryl Barnett i think rob or even catlyn possible would be god choices. and possibly renely cause i think her could totally get the realm on his side and take the thrones from the lannisters.

Fernando Góngora Tywin Lannister, The Hound is alive I'm 98% sure.
Catelyn and Robb had to go, sadly.

Fernando Góngora Not the best one, better than Dragons for sure, (I haven't been able to even finish it), but Crows doesn't even play in the same league as Thrones/Kings/Swords which is in my opinion the greatest fantasy trilogy ever, (maybe a tie with LOTR).

Gina Honestly, I would pick to save Ned. He was never my favorite character, but I thought he died a little too soon. The first book is my favorite. It was short, and got to the point. After Ned's death, the story just seemed to drag too much. So I would save him, but have him die a little later into the series.

Feyi Aina Eddard Stark. His death still haunts me.

Niels Bugge Oberyn Martel is a good suggestion, Martin basically shut down all the interesting plotlines with the Red Wedding, flushing the interesting characters before Snoozefeast for Crows, and Oberyn was the only one of the new characters I actually found interesting. Too bad he was too stupid to live and have any real impact before Martin offed him too.

I'd actually like to see a lot of characters dying very fast to clear up some of the tangled storylines, because I suspect that the sixth book will just be a slow retreat in the North, political scheming in the capital between some new people I can't remember the name of, and Dany wasting even more time in Essos.
