Emily (elp2012) Hi Everyone,

My 1 year blogoversary is coming up (Jan) and I am looking for suggestions on how to format a celebration post.

I am also wondering if there are any authors out there who would be willing to donate a book for a giveaway - I'm willing to do an interview or guest post in exchange (I'm also open to ideas, so don't be afraid to make a suggestion).

Thanks so much everyone!

Briana | 63 comments I've seen a lot of bloggers celebrate their blogoversaries by posting stats of what happened on the blog in the last year. You could post things like how many followers you gained, how many comments you received, how many books you reviewed, etc. to give your followers an idea of how much you've grown.

As for a giveaway, I have no personal experience asking authors to donate books. I think you might have more success emailing individual authors to make the request, but don't be disappointed if they say decline. Authors get lots of requests for free books--but they would like to actually sell some to readers, too!
