Multiple Character 1st person POV done well?

The main thing to watch out for when dealing with multiple POVs is making sure that the different characters rally feel like different people. If the characters all have similar "voices" the reader won't be able to feel very attached to any of them. I recently finished "The Girl With All the Gifts," and I loved the plot but the POV stuff bugged me for that very reason.
Although not urban fantasy I recently read "Boxer Beetle" and
... I would recommend that as a good example."Attachments" is another really good example, but also not urban fantasy.
I have a UF example on the tip of my brain but it's alluding me. - I'll think about it some more and get back to you. :)

As a reader, how many POVs are too many for you? What are the defining factors in your reasoning?
If you are someone who has used this technique, what were the pitfalls you encountered and what would you have done differently?
