Tamara Evans (bamalibrarylady) I read "Left Out in America: The State of Homelessness in the United States" by Pat LaMarche.

Virginia (dogdaysinaz) | 52 comments I thought this would be hard since I read pretty widely, but I had a few that fit! I chose A Knock at Midnight for this prompt. Such a brilliant underrated book.
A Knock at Midnight by Brittany K. Barnett

I also read Eat a Peach (I didn't know who David Chang was!) and The Beantown Girls, historical fiction about the Red Cross Clubmobiles during WW II.

Heather L (wordtrix) | 780 comments I read Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson for this one. As math and science were never my best subjects, this definitely qualified for this prompt. And, while I don’t know how much will actually stick, it was an interesting book.

My friend adopted 2 kids from Kazakhstan so I'm interested in it as well. There is a short book called "Apples are from Kazakhstan" that you might like to read as well.
