There are a pile of podcasts to do with Henry VIII by various experts and authors through the British Library (in conjunction with the recent exhibit they had)www.bl.uk/whatson/podcasts/exhibition...
You can listen to them on the site or download to your MP3 player.
Also if you scan through BBC History magazine (Particularily April 2009) there are a number of podcasts dealing with Tudor themes.www.bbchistorymagazine.com/podcasts
These ones usually have two "stories" from the magazine per podcast and two podcasts per issue of magazine. One story might be Tudor, the other half about Flying Aces or such.
Thanks Colleen and Thalia!! I went onto Itunes and subscribed to the podcasts as soon as I read the thread!!
You're welcome! I love them, they all differ in length so it's versatile listening. The British library ones are a good partner with the exhibition catalogue as they discuss many of the items in the exhibit. I think I've got a dozen podcsts on my iPod and I listen to them all the time, over and over.
There's a new podcast at BBC History mag called "Virgin Queen to Vindictive Queen" that accompanies an article of the same name about Elizabeth I. Also in the September issue of the magazine (but no podcast) are articles:"A Tudor mariner's epic exploits"
"The Tudors: This time it's political" (about the show)
Next month will feature an article on Henry V which we all know is Henry VIII's idol.
Very cool. I know what calendar I want this year. All the eye candy of The Tudors without the horrid history.
Thanks for that Katherine, my wall will be beautifully adorned next year. :)Another good site to check out:

Kinda looks like a digital bookstore to me but it seems cheaper than itunes audibooks.
I used audible for the two years I had to commute to another city to work and loved it! BTW, thanks for the podcast links!

Either go to itunes store and type in "Tudorcast" or go directly to the website:
http://tudorhistory.org/podcast/
The best part is the podcast is free to subscribe to, it's like getting free books!
Others I have found via itunes that look interesting:
The CBC Tudorcast (explores the "fact behind the fiction" such as what they really would have eaten in Henry VIII's court)
Henry VIII (seems to be an HF audiobook)
