I need help finding a book

In 2018 i was on fband saw a book that looked interesting nowi cannot find the info. The book is about a special ops team leader who loses his team, family and friends by murder. He is the main character and he goes on mission to solve the murders and then goes into hiding cause he thinks the government did the killings. At the time I seen this it was to be the first in a series and was from a new author.
