Oh, OK. I searched for "super pickle" in the Internet Archive (selecting "search text contents"), and chose the one that best fit your description.
Oooh, I will have to keep that in mind for future searches. I've never actually used that site before.Thanks again for your help. I have another joke book I'm trying to find, but I'll have to make a separate post for that. I know it has a moose on the cover, but that's about all I know, lol. There's no moose on this one.

Being crazily tormented by another book from years ago. This was a children's joke book. It was picture book format, so not longer than 30 pages or so.
From what I can remember, which is not much, the jokes were mostly about animals. A frog and a camel were on the cover for sure, possibly also a monkey or hippo. I remember the cover being yellow.
There were lots of jokes and riddles. I remember one illustration with a flying pickle. "What's green and flies? Super Pickle!" There was another joke with a bunch of animals pushing a fridge door closed, "close the door, I'm dressing!" I also remember elephants, spiders, a huge snake, the Jolly Green Giant, and a boy riding a cow.
Pretty sure it was pubbed in the '80s. Possibly the '70s, but I don't think so. It would not have been released any later than '88 (at a stretch). Trying to comb through all the hundreds of kids' joke books in Worldcat has yielded nada so far.
