Kageyama Tobio (kageyamatobio) I'm not very good at recommendations so I'll just give some suggestions on the book types but not the actual books.

-I don't think that the BOTM should be fairly new since most of us use the library (I know I do) to get our books and new books tend to have a lot of holds on it, therefore not making it convenient and there probably won't be as much participants.
-No nonfiction (although, this is my personal preference).
-No too popular books since most of us have likely already read it or are planning to.

^^^Remember, these are just suggestions. You don't have to utilize all or any of them

I rarely buy books. I only buy books when I know I will likely never be able to get it from the library or if there's this buy one get one free sale.

I'll recommend books that you may have never listened about, because like the most famous ones you might have already read so:
-Starters by Lissa Price
-Mist by Kathryn James
-Wonder by R. J. Palacio
