Do you remember where the eggs lived, on a farm or in a grocery or in a town of some type? Did they wear clothes?

Eggbert, the Slightly Cracked Egg has anthropomorphic eggs, but it doesn't seem to be a series.

Herve, I added some details to the topic header, so your book might be recognized from the header alone. Feel free to update it clicking the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.)
Do you recall is the characters' names were unusual or fit a pattern (e.g., egg-related, Mr. _____)?
Have you tried searching on Worldcat.org? It's helpful for finding old children's books. https://www.worldcat.org/advancedsear...

I thought this would be quite a unique one, but it has been very tough to search for, because I have to wade through so many thousands of books about Easter, food, or animals. I always come to this group as a last resort in the hopes that someone else will remember it when my searching consistently fails.

Came up with zero, zilch, nada. If it's there, I don't think "egg" is one of the keywords.

"Bumping" will bring your thread back up to the top of the list, where fresh eyes can see it.

How do the egg characters differ - e.g., color, personality, favorite activities, jobs?
Who are the other characters in the book - e.g., humans, animals, just eggs?
Can you describe the illustrations - e.g., simple or detailed, realistic or cartoon-like, painted watercolors or bold graphics? Do they remind you of a similar illustrator or picture book author?

One of the books, A Place of Our Own, is listed on Goodreads.
