DADOES: My Name is in This Book!

I've seen my first or last name used in books as a character but never together. There was an actress with the same name, but she didn't have a very big career...

Humor aside, it is weird reading about all the andys they want to kill. Kept taking me out of the story as I processed it.

Andy wrote: "My name is in the book too, they all want to kill me. :(Yeah, I mean, it makes sense why'd they call them andys (we love to shorten/nickname everything), but I wonder if that's why they used "replicants" in the film.

According to Wikipedia, it's because Ridley Scott wanted to avoid the audience bringing any of their preconceptions to terms like "androids" or "robots".
My first name is common enough but I seriously doubt I will EVER see my last name in a book unless I take a sharpie into a bookstore...

I think this is all because my name is common/pedestrian enough that it can show up as a random person in a novel, but that it hardly ever does, so it's pretty bizarre when it does.
And then you add some Dickian reality-questioning to it, and I don't even know anymore...
(For extra DADOES-goodness, "Andy" can be a nickname for my middle name.)
