The Foxes are a fractured mess, but their latest disaster might be the miracle they've always needed to come together as a team. The one person standing in their way is Andrew, and the only one who can break through his personal barriers is Neil.

Except Andrew doesn't give up anything for free and Neil is terrible at trusting anyone but himself. The two don't have much time to come to terms with their situation before outside forces start tearing them apart. Riko is intent on destroying Neil's fragile new life, and the Foxes have just become collateral damage.

Neil's days are numbered, but he's learning the hard way to go down fighting for what he believes in, and Neil believes in Andrew even if Andrew won't believe in himself.

Chapter 1-3

I like the fact that neil’s becoming the uniting factor between the two groups on the team. Even though he’s not really a huge part of either, but I’m hoping that changes.

What is with Andrew pulling a knife?? Oh my god

he pulled the knife so fast, he didn't even hesitate to slice kevin, that was shocking.
i feel bad for Allison as well, it's weird how well they all get along now that Seth is gone, they even had a drink and watched a movie with kevin and Nicky. (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 6- oh my god neil's outburst was amazing. You could tell he was trying to hold it in until he just couldn't! Also the french accent of jean (in the audiobook) is just awful like it's so annoying and stereotypical. (I'm half french.) And oh my the way Kevin found out who neil was?? And then we find out why neil's been running and he didn't even know??

okay, so it makes sense but i can't believe they sent andrew away. Sad that he's missing from these chapters but can't wait to see him when he's back.

i wish we got to see some of neil's time in the raven's place. It seemed to really affect him yet we didn't see much of it!

neil shuting riko up was awesome, he hit him where it hurts. i loved chapter 6 so much, so much happened in it

it is really nice of the girl to let Neil use their bathroom because the boys bathroom doesn't have stalls, they never asked him why he doesn't change in front of them. i love that about them.
Neil's meltdown about the phone is so sad, he's so damaged.

i love Nicky's talk about why he like guys and how neil can love Exy but it can't love him back, Neil's first thought when Nicky said he liked that he can lean on Erik all day and he won't break a sweat Neil thought about Andrew, i'm picking up on more Neil/Andrew's moments on this reread than when i read it the first time, like how Neil is so interested with what's going on between Andrew and Renee, he even went to see Renee just to ask her what's going on between them, and that Andrew told her to tell Neil he is gay.also how Andrew keep saying how interesting Neil is and he listen to him and agree to most things he asks. i'm fangirling every time they have a scene together, i can't help it XD

so happy you like it. i think it was a good idea to send Andrew to rehab after what happened, Neil describing how Andrew was laughing through it was heartbreaking, i can't wait for sober Andrew.
neil thinking of the foxes as his family is a development, that would've scared him shitless in the first book.

yeah we didn't see much of what happened in Evermore, Neil can't even remember most things from the pain, he forget he has his natural hair back or that he has a tattoo on his face, the foxes will have so many questions.

On one hand I agree but on the other just because (view spoiler)[he doesn't want to be responsible for them outside of the court doesn't mean that he isn't.
