Luke Dyess I have read Pathfinder as well as the Septimus Heap series. I really liked them. the thing is, I have heard no one talked about either of them. Do other people like these books? Comments?

AgCl i'm not sure if my taste in books have changed or if i expected too much from pathfinder but i found it a little underwhelming as compared to the septimus heap series

Jake I loved the whole septimus heap series and i also bought this 1st book in the TodHunter Moon series. I liked this book but i did get the feeling that something was missing. I will get the Sand Rider when it comes out next October and see what I think. I do think that Angie Sages books deserve more attention!

I know what you mean. I really liked Path Finder pretty well, but like you said: there seems to be something missing.

Jake Yeah, it seemed to be missing something and rather bland in spots but then other chapters got good so i dunno it was just a mixed feeling. I never got that from any of the septimus heap books as they were all very good and kept my interest the whole way through.

Luke Dyess Yeah...I guess she may have lost some of the "special sauce" that she used in the Septimus series.

Barbara Gipson I've read all of the Septimus books and enjoyed them thoroughly. I'm having a little trouble getting started with the Pathfinder series. It's still on my Currently Reading List.
