Hey Becky! Welcome to the group, I hope you like it here!
Hi, I'm Charlene Turner. I am 15 from Florida, USA. I love music, movies, running and reading. I will read any book (except graphic novels......80's comics are an exception) Though I find my self reading a lot of historical fiction. I love history, so maybe that's part of it. My go to authors are Ridley Pearson and Shannon Messenger. I do a lot of sports, I do track, cross country, basketball, gymnastics, dance and Karate (if that's considered a sport) I don't really have a dream job, but I have thought of joining the Marines when I'm older. I was invited by one of my friends. I joined because I am a book worm despite all the sports. I'm a Disney girl. Their parks and movies are amazing. (one of my job options would have to be a Disney cast member or imagineer.)

Hi everybody!I'm Necmi from Turkey. Izzy invited me and I accepted her kind invitation. Thanks Izzy :) The reason why I accepted is that I love YA books. I'm a book nerd and try to read books from all kind of genres. As for YA I finished reading some series like HP, Fablehaven, The Hunger Games, House of Night, The Underland Chronicles. I read Cinder and other books of the series are on my reading list. I read 2000+ books -of course not all of them are listed on GR yet- up to now and if possible I want to start writing my own books. I'm exactly a Gryffindor. My hobbies are sports, especially fitness, music and reading of course.
Hi, my name is Monika Magdalena, but since I've been living in Brittany, France ( Easter 2000), I have been called Monique.I must admit, that I am a bit over young adult age, but that doesn't mean, that I don't enjoy certain YA stories. Nevertheless there are only so many cheerleader and high school dramas I can digest in a year.
I myself write stories with adult charcters (generally in their thirties), but my debut novel "What if?" was nominated for the Stonewall YA-book award (didn't get anywhere near the finals, though).
So far I have tried my hand at fantasy "What if?", romance "The Princess of Lights" and crime/mystery " Foreign Influence" but then there is "Viper", that will be re-released with a second part added, which has a 17 year old male to female trans heroine, who has a lesbian mother. The first part is available already, but not on Amazon.
I read all sorts of books, but mostly fiction, historic and lesbian. I am interested in ecology and renewable energy but have focussed mainly on writing since my retirement.

My favorite books include Harry Potter, Throne of Glass, Heroes of Olympus, Revolution,The Night Circus, I'll Give You The Sun, Hate List, Red Queen, and Strange The Dreamer. (there's more but I'm lazy)
My favorite subject in school is probably English, but I am okay at math and I like history. I like annoying my friends by joking about how my English grades are better than theirs, even though I don't speak English at home (Asian parents, raised bilingual).
My hobbies are violin, piano, orchestra, art, and baking.

Hey, I’m Alex. I’m a 12 year-old from the USA. I love YA fantasy, and am an avid reader. All time favorite series include the Hunger Games (though I though mockingjay was awful, the first two... *chef’s kiss*) the Renegades trilogy, the Caraval trilogy, and the Mortal Instruments. (Yes, I prefer TMI to TID I know I’m weird) I’m sure I’m forgetting countless other series, but those are my current favorites. I play lots of sports, including soccer and running track, and take art classes at my local studio. I’ve always wanted to be an architect and plan to go to Cornell for either architecture or urban planning. I joined because I thought it would be fun.
