My favourite authors so far include Maggie Stiefvater, Sarah J Maas, and Victoria Schwab, and my favourite series are Harry Potter, (puffs for life!!) Throne of Glass, and the School for Good and Evil.
I'm about to start the Shadowhunters books, the Shades of Magic series, the Shatter Me series, the Folk of the Air series, the Grisha trilogy, and the Red Queen series and I'm so excited!! Good morning everyone!My Name is Brett, I am the tender age of 29 years old, with my 30s very much on the horizon and I live in the United States.
My favorite Genres tend to be Adventure, YA series, and autobiographies (depending on the person). I grew up very much into Harry Potter, after that I did enjoy the Hunger Games series, and am now working on my own series. (Still very much in the edit stages).
I don't have many hobbies, free time would consist of working out and martial arts.
My dream job is becoming an author of my own series. I always had an imagination and never had an outlet. It took a very long time to find my passion in life but thankfully I found it in writing, storytelling, and reading.
I joined this forum because I wanted to be around like minded people, people that shared similar interests. I grew up in a household where dreams were thought as just that, dreams. The magic in stories is that you can be anything you want to be, do anything you want to do. I'm sure you guys get how great that feeling can be. :)

Hi! I'm Sara, a 17 (almost 18) year old from the US. My bookish interests (much like my life) are all over the place. I'm interested in everything and always open to trying new things, although currently I'm liking a lot of YA fantasy/romance/adventure and I do have to say that Neal Shusterman is quickly emerging as one of my favorite authors. I'm an absolute theatre nerd, although I also volunteer at our local zoo and do quiz bowl at my school. So Broadway trivia is my specialty. I don't know what I quite want to do with my life yet, although I'm debating between pursuing either a path in theatre or biology as a career.
I joined this group because I want to meet new people. It's a big world and I probably only have about 70/80 years left so why not try and make as many connections as I can?

Hi Sara! Welcome to Goodreads. I just started here myself a few days ago or maybe even yesterday. It's harder and harder to keep track of the days now lol.
If I could give you advice (having known you for all of one post on here. Sorry haha). In regards to what you want to do with your life, go for what you are passionate for, no matter what that is and no matter how off in the distance it is. If you are doing what you love and you have a steady income in addition, you can't go wrong!
