-My favorite genres are middle grade fantasy and contemporary. I don’t really have a single favorite book, but i love harry potter and rick riordan’s books.

Hi I'm Katherine!

I just joined (obviously). I'm a freshman at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, but I'm originally from California (NorCal specifically, if you were wondering). My favorite book currently is A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas, though I have many other favorites. I generally prefer fantasy or realistic fiction (exact opposites, I know), but I will occasionally read other genres. Usually not horror because I scare really easily.

Favorite authors include: Sarah J Maas, Sherrilyn Kenyon, E. Lockhart, Leigh Bardugo, and there are probably more I can't remember.

Since I'm in college now, the amount of books I read has seriously decreased, but so I'm hoping to read a lot more books this semester. I also look for as many new books as possible, even though I don't get to most of them because I just don't have the time, so if I don't read books with the group, I'll probably put it on my to read list and hopefully read it when I have more time.

Oh, I also have to say that I am obsessed with penguins. I collect anything and everything penguin, especially stuffed animals. And when I say 'obsessed', I mean obsessed because I literally have more than 100 penguin plushies. Other penguin things include: pajamas, shirts, jackets, stickers, pens, pencils, hats, books, figurines, snow globes, etc
