Hey! I'm Alexandria, but everybody calls me Alex. I'm 18 and I just started getting back into reading at the end of last month. I'm on my fifth book so I'd say its going pretty well! I live in the US, but I'm actually moving from Massachusetts to Florida this Saturday. The car ride will be a great time to read, so I'm looking forward to it :) I can't really say I have a favorite genre because I read so many different types of books from contemporary and historical fiction, to fantasy and true crime. Definitely not picky. I've got several favorite books/series including The Book Thief, In Cold Blood, Wonder, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, and Harry Potter. I aspire to be a teacher/child care provider, but I'd also love to be a librarian... still figuring things out.
Fun fact, I buzzed my head for a charity event since my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. The $500 I raised went to help kids with their own treatment expenses and I donated my hair to Wigs4Kids! I'm actually really liking the short hair now so I'm not sure if I'll grow it out again. Funny thing is, I've never done anything to my hair before that event so family and friends were shocked, to say the least!

Hello, everyone! My name is Max (she/her). I'm 26 and live in the United States. I read a lot as a kid, but got kind of burned out in high school / college, and I've only recently gotten back into it.I try to read a little of everything, but I tread towards ya fantasy and graphic novels with magical or superhero characters. I just finished reading the main books of "the Lunar Chronicles" series and I'm lowkey obsessed with the characters right now.
When not reading or working, I enjoy watching movies and tv shows (I just finished "Dexter" and am looking for something else to watch) and drawing, and I hope to someday write my own stories.

I don’t really stick to a favorite kind of genre, I try to explore my way around everything 😅 My favorite books so far were “Life as we knew it” and “the five people you meet in heaven” both short reads but absolutely worth it.
In my free time I like to listen to music, hang out with friends, go swimming and enjoy the outdoors. I’m currently studying to become a nurse, but I don’t think I want to pursue that career forever. Eventually I would like to go back to school and become a teacher and advisor for nursing students.
