Hello everyone,

I'm working on my young adult fantasy adventure novel, based on Asian mythologies, set in a world of magic and martial arts. It's called, The Legends of New Shaolin: The Treasure of Penglai.

Below is the synopsis:
After yet another fight with his Father, 15-year-old Nic Thorne runs away from home, only to be attacked by strange creatures that have haunted him since childhood. The encounter turns his life upside down and destiny carries him away to the long-lost island of Mount Penglai, the supposed home of the Eight Immortals.

There, Nic is accepted as a guest student at New Shaolin, the Kung Fu school reincarnated from the original Shaolin Temple of China. Though training with the best Kung Fu teachers and students in the world is a dream come true, Nic is preoccupied by the nagging feeling that there is more to his recent experiences than meets the eye. Aided by his new friends of Penglai, Nic seeks out the secrets of his past and makes his way along the murky path that lies ahead.

But, is he prepared to confront the mysteries that may prove more profound and dangerous than he could have ever imagined?
