This is the only place where I can talk about books. No one in my class like to talk about books. I’m one of the only people who read more the 2h a day. People in my class call 15 minutes a lot of reading so. So please let me stay.

We should try to have it be more active.
I have a question. I really want to like KOTLC but my friends showed me some things that I didn't want to see or hear so can someone help me love this series again? I really want to but the thing that they showed me kinda made me not like the series.
I think the best way to love the series again is to reread it. That worked for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

These are the websites they showed me. If you don't want reasons to not like KOTLC, don't read the websites. And I love your idea but I really did love the series so I've read it over and over again, like 15 times, but after I started talking about it to my friends, they showed me those websites and I started thinking about the bad things that happen.
Not every series is perfect but doesn’t mean you should stop like it because of the flaws it might have. Just focus on the good things- the things that make you feel happy and the special parts in the books.
And as for the character development, just now the Sophie grew up hearing people thought and maybe her brain learned to ignore stuff-that might be why she was so oblivious for a long time. Keefe went through a hard time and it made him reckless and unsure. Sometime people have a harder time trying to grasp things- their mind can change frequently and lots of overthinking.Everyone has different perspectives and not everyone thinks the same way. So if you do not want to continue reading the serie that is totally okay. However while these characters are fictional try to be more excepting and understanding in why they may be acting a certain way.
Everyone is flawed real or fictional. I have a brother w/ADHD. I also have a sister(might have ADHD but is uncertain currently) so I’m used to knowing how every person acts and behaves differently even though I do not understand it to the exact. Sometimes she can be smiling but a little thing can trigger her quickly. If this didn’t help- sorry for wasting your time.
