As Stevie walk with her little sister down the long narrow path that leads into the woods she paused and so did Pheebie. As they looked in to pitch black darkness and thought they saw figures as the step on to the crunching leaves that fell. As voice whispered “hello? What r you doing?” Stevie and Pheebie screamed and ran as fast as a cheetah run at its prey. They ended up at the park a few miles from there. There was stilter coming from the parade that was taking place because it was the fourth of July. As the smell of cigarette’s filled her nose; she didn’t turn away but gilded towards it. Stevie had heard her friends talk about how cool it was to smoke and how good you felt after wards, but she hadn’t believed it. She decided to try one just one. She knew she shouldn’t. She knew all of the side effects. She knew how her aunt acted after she had one. But to just try one her world would be complete. It was now in this moment she would let the world collapse in front of her eyes. As she breathed in the scent. She picked the pack of Kools cigarettes, gentle took one out and felt it. it felt like silk that had been woven. She knew she could probably die in the long run. It but it was worth it. Without any hesitation, she put the lung cancer waiting to happen into mouth as she lite it. As she breathed out, she had felt better than she had before. She felt the smoke trickle down her windpipe full her lungs with and let it out again. She put the pack in her pocket of her dress. Pheebie sat there with the saddest face. She knew at the moment her sister put that into her mouth she would have to tell mommy and daddy so Stevie could get help and stop her from becoming hooked on these things. Even though she was only seven she had to learn everything she could on the worst thing that was in her family was cigarettes. Her mom had been addicted once her dad too. Her still was. So she knew a lot. She had to get help.
