So basically we post in here about the chapters we've been reading c:

Am I the only one who is having trouble picturing things? Like I'm on chapter 7 and I am having trouble picturing the prison and basically the world?

[Gwendolyn]

It took me awhile to fall back into the series, but after a few chapters I was back in the world. Things are still jumping all over the place but I have found when I get tired of one story line the next one is right around the corner.

I did have a problem picturing the prison too. Other than that I have no trouble picturing the world. I know this may sound weird because the book just started but I love Thorne so far!

I am not sure how I am feeling about Wolf after finishing chapter ten. I'm sure I will love him soon enough. Im pretty in love with Thorne right now. Let me know when you ladies are done chapter ten c:

Whoops I read ahead. I crushed on Wolf early on, then didn't know what to think about him and now I'm back to crushing on him. Chapter 23 is life!

I would like to know what each of you thought about this one compared to Cinder, who was your favorite character in Scarlet?
I said before, but I really wish they would have been able to focus more on Scarlet and her story but I realized that Cinder and that story had to be included. I suppose it was a fair split between the 2 stories.
Did you like Wolf and what were your thoughts of him by the end of the book?
I was definitely back and forth from one chapter to another about Wolf. One minute I loved him and the next I didn't know what to think. Final verdict? Love him!

OKAY WELL FIRST OFF, I LOVE ALL MALE CHARACTERS THAT MARISSA MEYER WRITES. ESPECIALLY WOLF. And I agree Scarlet deserved more of a book to herself, but I also liked that we get to know Cinder is okay.... CAN WE TALK ABOUT IKO FOR A SECOND BECAUSE I FELT LIKE CRYING WHEN CINDER PUT HER IN THE SHIP AND SHE WAS LIKE 'I'M ENORMOUS' IT MADE ME SO HAPPY THAT SHE WAS STILL OKAY EVEN IF SHE IS A ROBOT PERSONALITY? AND HOW DO Y'ALL SAY IKO? BECAUSE I THINK IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SAID ICK-O BUT I SAY IT LIKE EYE-COO? AND IM STILL SO FRAZZLED ABOUT THIS BOOK TBH

I am so happy that Iko reappeared in this book I absolutely love her character. I was not the hugest fan of Wolf in this book I understand that he is under a sort of mind control when around the pack but ehh I don't know. I really did love him in the end of the book though especially with making Scarlet his alpha female. I really like Scarlet in the being of the book but liked her less as the story went on, she was being really naive and you could make the argument that with her grandma being missing she would believe anything that anyone told her because she wants to find her but again I don't know. I am still not sure what to make of Wolf and Scarlet. I found myself really liking Cinder's chapters and THORNE! I can say hands down Thorne is my favorite character in the whole book, I just picture him as Chris Pratt and he is perfect. Overall I thought the book was okay it had some problems but I liked it a lot more than Cinder! I cannot wait for Cress because I read the synopsis and I love who Cress is! And Danni I totally thought Ikos name was pronounced eye-coo!

First off I don't love Thorne in this book. I know he'll be around in the next book and I am hoping i will come to love him more. I didn't hate him but he was just so....I don't know the word I am looking for. He's American though so #Merica!

Iko...which I pronounce I-KO is super fabulous in this book. I loved her in Cinder and I love that she was back in Scarlet. I thought it was funny and sad how she felt as a ship, and I really hope they find her a proper body. They could always head back to the grandmother's house and Cinder can fashion up something I am sure.

I still think the beginning was a little rough to imagine, the world building was lack luster and I did have a hard time picturing the ships, the jail, and the world overall. I don't remember there being ships in Cinder so maybe that's what threw me off. I thought more of hovers...or something...

With the Lunar thing I know right? Cress I am assuming will be a lunar too. I really did love Thorne in this book but something in the book seemed off with his relationship with Cinder like I feel like they would betray each other at any moment. I surprisingly didn't have a problem with imagining the world with this book which usually my number one problem when I read these types of sci-fi books.

I guess at first it was hard for me to imagine Scarlet and Cinder in the same world. Yes I know Cinder took place in New Beijing and Scarlet took place in France. Maybe that was it.

I had to keep reminding myself when I first started that Scarlet was in France but after a while it was fine. The thing that really tripped me up was accents. I think that goes with every book for me though I never picture anybody with out an american accent.

I definitely agree with everyone about the Lunar thing. I actually loved both Wolf and Thorne, Throne bc of the sass and yet I felt for him like Cinder, you grew to stand him/love him. I wonder if he and Cinder are going to end up together or if she's going to go back to Kai? Maybe she'll crash the wedding! ;o And Wolf, Gwen knows I freaking loved him since the beginning. I think bc he reminds me of Travis from Beautiful Disaster c: And I totally get you Mads, I picture them all with american accents too. I can't help it. It's really difficult to picture them in another accent when your inner voice reads in an American(which is basically Canadian too, I suppose. I dont think we sound different than you guys do we?) accent.
