Oh I've tried them- Buffalo Chicken Wings drool, just never made them. Bet yours wouldn't be too hot for me! :)

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments Perri - do you want to do another buddy read?

Take a look at The Room on Rue Amélie by Kristin Harmel The Room on Rue Amélie. It looks interesting.

Vicki Willis Christine, I am always on your side!

Patricia, am going to try your recipe. It is better than the one I have. I will let you know if it causes a chicken wing riot! ( i think you started a thing!)

I do decadent potatoes. Not good for you? Throw it in there!! DH usually smokes a turkey. One you taste it, hard to go back to an oven

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments I've had fried turkey which is to die for. I only have access to an oven at home, although I do brine the bird.

Vicki Willis My mom is still in the hospital, but finally making some progress. We usually go to her house for TDay, but this year I am going to do it at my house. I haven't done a full dinner in many years, so I am excited and a little nervous!

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments Vicki, have you decided on your menu yet?

message 61: by Patricia (new)

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments By the way, Vicki, is it raining in San Diego? It has started in Orange County. It has been so long, I forgot where I put my umbrella.

message 62: by Vicki Willis (new)

Vicki Willis Yes! So exciting! I wish it was the weekend though!
I don't even own an umbrella!

message 63: by Perri (new)

Perri | -43 comments Deep fried turkey, yes! We did that once many years ago and it was soo juicy. Also, I have to have canned cranberry jelly. I know some people hate it.
Such excitement about rain, you all Should move to the PNW haha. But I get it...so much dry!

Patricia Bergman (marshop) | 1229 comments Christine, there are many recipes for milder wings. Search the web for asian style or barbecue style wings. They are all good.
