How have I never heard of this series? Wrong age group?
I mean, I'm not a big fan of live action adaptations in general but this opens up the possibility of a wider audience for these books and also I am very fond of Tamora Pierce as a person so~
I read it with my kids oh so many years ago. I was probably around 40 at the time. I’m 56 now. I still have to buy the eldest Tamora Pierce books when they come out. He’s 30. I’m really looking forwards to this.
Goodness. I've typed "Squee!" a coupla times in an review for an anticipated book, but capslock would give me such high expectations nothing could live up to them.
This is really, really exciting. I can't wait to see who they cast.

My sister sent this to me today and I freaked out! My dream growing up was to play one of the characters in the nonexistent movie/TV series. (Since I couldn't actually move to Tortall.) My first instinct was to try and audition, then I remembered I'm too old now hahaha
But honestly I'm already terrified to watch it
I'm excited. The Lioness Quartet was really important to teenage me, and I really hope this happens and does Tortall justice.
Anyone heard any more about this, or has 2020 derailed it into tv show development limbo? Because.. yeah, I could use a return to Tortall!
