I love the Maze Runner so much, and whenever i read it, i feel like i want to be a runner.

This is one of my favorite books in the whole world. When I finished the series I felt like my whole world stopped. I don't know how I was living before I read this book. I'm still obsessed with the books and I speak in Glader language all the time. I even join the track club in my school just so I can say "I'm a runner" and call new members "Greenies" Urghh What.. is... my..life!?!?

What the HELL is wrong with you Emmanuel? You just told me I should go read other books 'smarter' than The Maze Runner and told me you are smarter than me... now you go make this discussion about how much you love this book? You are unbelievable....And YES, I love this book. It is my favourite novel, and my favourite Dystopian book series out of all the ones I have read. I love the characters, the Maze and I love where the story takes off after the first book. I even bought a necklace with Newt's name engraved on it (see my profile picture) I have been obsessed with this series for the past 3 years (since I first read it) and I am so impressed with the movie, I saw it 8 times in the cinemas. I give this book 12/10.

@Niya I know!! Newt isn't actually my favourite character either, but he is the most beautiful and loyal character in the book. I love him so much and when I saw this I knew I just HAD to have it!!! :')

Emmanuel, yes... We all know that. All the maze runner cast have twitter accounts, I've been following them for 2 years and I literally know everything there is to know. Actually, Emmanuel, if you have any questions, I could answer them :)

I actually have no problems with him. I understand why he did what he did and how he treated Thomas. Plus I love him in the third book :)

@Kelly yes I know there's a Gally one I bought it!! @Niya I liked Gally from the start. I mean, his hatred was so forced sometimes he just made me laugh a lot. I just really liked his evilness.... Because it was sort of harmless, if you know what I mean? Like what damage could he REALLY do? (aside from the end) And I liked how he stood up to Alby and Newt, and I could totally understand his reasons for hating Tommy. I actually love Gally :p and even though they changed him a lot in the movie, I thought he was still awesome :D

Yeah, I never really hated Gally, he made me mad at times when he was mean to Thomas, but It wasn't till Alby went through the changing that I realized that maybe Gally's right about Thomas putting them in there. How can they all recognize Thomas after the changing. Something a little fishy. So I started understanding Gally but I never hated him. At the end I still wasn't mad at him because he clearly said. "they.. can control... me..." so he didn't kill Chuck on purpose. But I don't like how they made Gally automatically evil in the movie. It didn't even clearly show that WICKED was controlling him to kill Chuck. The movie mad Gally seem like an asshole all along. But in the book he just trying to warn everyone!
Aw, yeah that's true. However, it was Gally's personality to be like that, as well as the fact that he was suspicious of Thomas. But there was nothing about WICKED controlling Gally or Chuck at the end. They really should have added that in, because now it just looks like Gally wanted to kill a little kid... :/

Also Thomas and Teresa be able to telepathically communicate with each other. I really wished that was in the movie as well :(
I actually think that no-telepathy thing was a good idea. It would look weird. I mean, they would just stand there awkwardly with voice overs, occasionally making eye contact. The dreams thing made more sense for a movie I think.
Aww but the second book is really important with telepathic thing but I don't want to ruin it for you if you didn't read the whole series. Yeah I didn't like the dream it also kind of ruined the spoiler about Thomas putting them there.
Yeah but he finds that out anyway during the Changing towards the end of the book. And yes I've read the whole series, first book 3 times and ST and DC 2 times each. I do agree that the telepathy is important in the second book, and when a certain other girl talks in his mind as well... That bit got us all confused and excited. I wonder how they'll do it.
Yeah!! I'm really excited about the second movie. I'm really excited about the new characters especially Jorge, Brenda, and Rat Man. I personally think that Rat Man should be played by James Dashner. But He already made a cameo in the first movie as a WICKED scientist soo..
Yeah that's true. He probably can't act anyway :p I can't wait for the trailer! I hope it comes out before next year
ugh I love this book so much. I just started the scorch trials though, so I'm not that far into the series and I love it so much. Maybe it's because for the last 6 months or so, I've been reading horribly boring books (my English tutor made me read) and I've been very upset bc it took 6 months to finish just 3 books bc they were all so boring. I kind of lost the thrill of reading and it's upsetting bc I love reading and I was just like "oh no I'm becoming one of those people who despise books". But then just yesterday I started the scorch trials and I am crying bc it's so much better than the books I've read the past 6 months.

This series is amazing. Like holy crap. I tried to bring my friends over to the series, but they didn't like it as much :(Newt though <3 Emma, I love that necklace. Newt broke my heart and he is definitely my favourite character. Love love love The Maze Runner!
I saw once an image of someone's book signed by James Dashner, on the very page Tommy shoots Newt, Dashner signed it "Im so sorry Newt" I would sooooooooo get him to do that for my copy.

Chuck, Remember when he almost put Thomas in trouble when he was disturbing Gally. Can someone please tell me what he did when gally came out and started Suspecting Thomas. "It was not me "Said thomas
You want to know what Chuck was doing when Gally was talking to Thomas about how "I've seen you shank" I'm pretty sure Chuck was hiding or waiting somewhere. Chuck was actually one of my least favourite characters. Of course I liked him and I thought he was cute, but I liked the older boys better... Idk. I was devastated when he died though :(
aww I love the Newt talk, he's seriously one of my fictional boyfriends. But we agreed no more Newt talk. Soo on to Chuck, was like a little brother to me. When he died all I thought about was when Thomas promised him that he would get him out the glade and find his family. Chuck was too young to die and I hate WICKED for making Gally kill him :(
Yeah, The saddest moment in the Maze Runner.... When Chuck died i was sad and he would not have died that young.. But that the way it was met to be.

The Maze Runner is irrefutably a blockbuster series ... i was so obsessed with it, not to mention to finish the whole trilogy once and for all ... the characters are perfect, the plot splendid. All the melancholic events such as the death of Chuck, the so-seemed-betrayal of Teresa towards Thomas himself. I just can't wait for the sequel on theaters!
