And the Chandrian seem like an interesting threat. I didn't even realise what the Chandrian were before.

34% (view spoiler)[Tehlu is the god that created the world. I'm glad that the story has moved out of the city as well, it was getting repetitive in some spots. Now that he's at the University, I hope for things to pick up. I liked his time traveling with the group, it offered insight into more of the culture groups, as well as introduced some characters that seemed important. Deena was interesting, I think because not too much was said about her but Kvothe was crazy over her. (hide spoiler)]

I'm sorry you aren't enjoying it too much. It is rather slow, but I don't mind it myself.

I'm still really enjoying it, but it's just different to what I expected.

Same here. I just knew everyone loved it and I love fantasy, so I figured it was a good mix, haha. I had no clue what the plot was about even after reading the synopsis multiple times.

40% (view spoiler)[I like the University setting. It brings me good feelings of Harry Potter (even though the two are vastly different, I just like school settings). I am excited to read more while Kvothe is in this place! And maybe, finally, the plot will get around to happening. (hide spoiler)]

Yeah, I've had a bunch of time to just read latey and I must enjoy this book more than I thought, because I choose to primarily read this one. xD
