Nikki | 2 comments The book I am wondering about involves two sisters, one newly widowed the other a single mother. They have been estranged for many years and share a trama involving a another sibling that took place in their childhood. The newly widowed sister is well off whereas the single mother lives a modest life. After the death of her husband, Sister Widow discovers a secret file on his computer (something sordid) and I think, a hidden wire or camera?? in the garage of their shared home.

"Synopsis: Sisters Lydia Delgado and Claire Scott haven’t spoken in over twenty years. After the disappearance of their nineteen-year-old sister, Julia, their family essentially fell apart. Further events jammed a wedge so deep between the sisters they went on to lead separate lives completely void of each other. The two couldn’t be more different. Lydia, a single mother and recovering drug addict, is dating an ex convict and struggling to make ends meet. Claire is a well-to-do trophy wife of a millionaire architect. Though incredibly different, each sister still struggles with the effects of the disappearance of Julie all those years ago.Another teenage girl has vanished, bringing up all of the old memories and feelings the women try to bury so deep. Days after the girl disappears, Claire’s husband is murdered on the street by a thug in what seems to be a robbery. "
