The Great Gatsby

I chose this book because it is a classic piece of literature that most people should read int heir lifetime. I thought the book was overall interesting and I can see why it is as famous as it is, although it was confusing at times. The Great Gatsby takes place in the roaring 20's era in the fictional East and West Egg of Long Island and the story is centered around the mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and his romance with Daisy Buchanan I would recommend this book to any middle schooler up, as its a classic that everyone should read in their lifetime at least once.

Great Gatsby is a great American novel depicting love and loss of someone and through new found wealth try’s to rekindle past loves. Classic look into the Jazz period. Another get F Scott Fitzgerald novel is Tender is the night.
