The Catcher in the Rye
question
Unreliable Narrators - Who Can you think of?

Having just seen the excellent Joker movie which uses some Unreliable Narrator tricks (the person telling the story may not be entirely accurate, honest or sane) thinking of books (all genres) using this convention. Suggestions welcome. Already aware of - Nabokov's Lolita, Sallinger's The Catcher In The Rye and Agatha Christie's The Murder Of Roger Ackroyd. Ellis's American Psycho, The Usual Suspects,
Life Of Pi counts too.

To Kill a Mockingbird. Very young narrator. Seeing things from child's perspective?
Every time I hear unreliable narrator I instantly think of "Dom Casmurro". To this day we still don't know if the protagonist's wife actually cheated on him or not. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

Gone Girl and The Silent Patient were some of my favorites in this genre.
