The ending was a little too neat, but it left me smiling! I gave it three stars overall, since the beginning was quite slow and a bit annoying. It definitely picks up toward the end though.
I agree with Angie about the ending. It did wrap up a bit too neatly, but it also gave me warm feelings and left me smiling.
Also, I give it 3.5 stars. I liked the book overall, but I never felt much investment toward the main characters.
3.5 Historically accurate and fun, but not fan-girl worthy.
*I DO like happy endings though, so I was completely fine with how it turned out.
