!!!!SOLVED!!!!Black Wind by F. Paul Wilson
- White man with birthmark on face
- Asian man, possibly named Matsuo
- The two guys are friends, then not, possibly over a girl, maybe a sort of Pearl Harbor situation
- I believe the first guy has a child with the woman
- The child shares the birthmark
- Asian man has something to do with Buddhism
- Sword fighting somewhere along the way, probably towards the end
- I remember the ending, but not the beginning. I read no spoilers somewhere on this page so I will say no more about that!
