SiraoGomes Hey everyone!

So I have been reading To kill a mockingbird, by Harper Lee, and I fall more and more in love with every page that I do. For someone who wrote in the 1950’s the author wrote about some really controversial topics. I loved the fact that she cleverly garbed it up from a child’s view point. Because often they have the clearest thought process. The scene where the lynching of the accused is prevented because of the girls intervention, I had my heart in my mouth the whole time. What a great book it is! And years ahead of its time.

If you haven’t read it, I strongly recommend that you do! And if you have, what was your favourite part of the book?

Me too! But at the same time I found it unrealistic, Scott's thoughts on what was happening were too deep and reasonable, and a child is a child...

I wouldn't say it's a "part" of the book, but I loved the scene where Scott found Jem eating bananas to gain weight.
