Chapter 35 - (view spoiler)[OKAY WOW WHAT DID JUST HAPPEN HUH DAMN WOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Barty Crouch just revealed himself to be himself through the Truth Potion and I read his whole confession in only a matter of minutes. I could not stop reading as I did not see this coming. At all. When Harry was dueling Voldemort I knew something was up but never did I guess it would be Crouch's son! (hide spoiler)] This book is definitely my favorite now. Damn!

Also the more I read this series the more baffled I am with the house points system, I mean yikes, ever heard of a system of checks and balances?

The movie really cut out a lot of the stuff in the beginning, did not expect it to take almost 300 pages for the Triwizard Tournament to get started for real. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[The whole Krum and Hermione thing is so freaking uncomfortable, that plotline would never fly if it was published in 2020.

I don't really remember much about the ending from the movie so I'm genuinely really confused with what going on with Barty Crouch? Bagman seems really clearly suspicious but I'm not sure what his deal is either, I literally don't even remember him as a character, my memory is so bad.

I like that this book is finally introducing us to a lot more of the wizarding world outside of just Hogwarts. (hide spoiler)]

Don't get me wrong, I was absolutely hooked and actually really loved how everything finally fit together, but that was just so much. So many great twists!

Poor, poor Cedric, he was so sweet but was just in the exact wrong place at the exact wrong time 😭

This is where I originally left off with the series (I did watch the 5th movie once when it was on tv but I remember nothing about it) so I'm super excited to see what happens next! (hide spoiler)]
